Hotel well placed, well decorated and very clean

The hotel was very clean and well equipped. Plus, the gym in the basement, as well as the well-equipped kitchenette in the aparthotel-sized rooms

A real hair dryer is rare!
Shampoo and Conditioner in Book Service in the Shower, and of very good quality it is rare too!

Free parking is possible in front of the hotel.
Bus n°28 close to the hotel that takes you to the city center of San Sebastian. Frequency every 15min.
Ticket price 1.85€.
20min drive.
Welcoming the hotel advised us when no need for the car and they did well!

Staff was so kind! Hotel is on the hill, in the middle of the wood. One bus takes to the downtown, maybe 15 min ride.

The photos of the establishment are a little misleading. The photos suggest that the property is situated in idyllic surroundings. This is partly true - the back of the hotel faces a forest but the main building is essentially in a busy business park with lots of buildings around.
The Numad part is annexed to its sister hotel but they are feet apart. You check in and have breakfast at the main hotel. Check in was a little odd. I stood patiently for a full ten minutes whilst a member of staff ignored me completely (she was busy with passports but a little acknowledgment would have been polite).
The Numad rooms have kitchenettes. They are perfectly ok but nothing special. They provided a kettle etc but no hospitality products whatsoever!!!! Not even a sachet of coffee.
The mattress was absolutely awful - it kept lifting up every time I stood up.
Breakfast was pleasant.
Buses - the no 28 stops a few feet away and will take you to the old centre etc
I personally found it to be a bit of a chore taking a 15 minute bus in and out of town. For that reason I would be unlikely to use it again but it’s a perfectly reasonable option if you are driving / happy with a bus. Just don’t go expecting coffee in the room!
