Acceptable but could be better.
The shower was terrible, no water came out; the food was very repetitive, although the quality was good and it was tasty. It's a big plus that water is included. They get overwhelmed with work and many times you don't have a set table, and for teaspoons, you had to eat dessert with a soup ladle. Jordi is a delight, and the bar staff are super nice, Joan, Erika, etc., super friendly and charming, and the reception staff too.

Terrible place and good attitude!!
We have been at a soccer tournament this weekend, and the worst part has been the hotel. It is an old establishment with hardly any renovations. Although the A/C worked in the rooms, in the lounge there were mop buckets along with the ¡CAUTION! signs under the air conditioning units, the waiters working behind the bar with the heat emitted by the refrigeration units at 26ºC, there was entertainment (by the way, Mariana did very well but was begging for a 5-star review on Google), but it didn't make you want to stay there either during the day or at night to enjoy the "show." The tiny pool for the 162 rooms that the hotel has. The food was mediocre; half an hour before the meal and dinner service ended, they were already clearing away and informing customers that they would not be replenishing the trays, a disgrace!!!! At reception, another issue: on the day of checkout, we requested a room for the children to rest (because checkout has to be done by 10), and we had to play the final at 18:30, and they denied it to us, even knowing our situation. We insisted until we finally managed to speak with the manager, who asked us for €50 for a late checkout from 10 to 18h; when we managed to talk to her, it was already 14h. In the end, she charged us €30. And to top it off, I went into the hotel’s courtesy showers, and when I came out, my sunglasses, my phone, and my wallet had disappeared from my bag. In general, a series of mishaps that made our soccer weekend turn out to be good instead of fantastic. I RECOMMEND ANY OTHER PLACE BEFORE THIS ONE.

Good value and location
I chose half-board which was better value than all-inclusive, given that the bar area is quiet and there are plenty of shops nearby, including a great supermarket/gift shop just next to the hotel. The beach is not far away but with the hotel being on the main road, there was noise from bars. I didn’t hear this once I closed the windows and turned on the air con.
Rooms are cleaned daily with towel change. The shower is powerful and warm. Reception staff are very friendly. There is a safe in the room but it is quite expensive to hire at e38 for eight nights. The balcony could do with more furniture than a plastic chair – a bistro table and chairs would be ideal. My room also did not have a chair so I used a plastic one from the balcony. There’s a large TV with some English channels (BBC1 & 2, Channels 4 and 5).
There was a good variety of food at breakfast and dinner: dinner was different each night. It was almost always possible to find a free table and the waiters cleared the tables regularly. Free carafes of water are available at dinner. I was surprised that the floor of the restaurant (in the basement) was not cleaned during my stay when it clearly needed to be.
The hotel has no garden but has a pool which is quite deep and has a refreshing waterfall feature. Too many sunbeds blocked with towels: something which needs to be addressed in many places.
Other guests were fine other than a large group of English schoolchildren. I drew a line when they began to bang on my door then run away. A complaint to reception did seem to work. The teachers eventually got a grip.
The beach is large and shelves quickly, which is fine for a confident swimmer. Malgrat de Mar is a lovely historic town: a walk there takes you to the tourist office where they provide a map and very good advice. Santa Susanna is not far inland on foot and is also worth a visit. The local road train starts from near the hotel and is good value for e5.20 for an hour’s journey. It avoids the tourist areas and travels into the hills, which give great views of the coast.

No peace, bad food, and zero value for money
My mom and I are staying at this hotel, here for a 10-day vacation because we were here last year too, when everything was okay (mostly because we didn't complain), counting on peace since I'm pregnant... this year is a disaster!The food comes down to fish, shellfish, and pasta, and not all of us like that; it's very scarce. Despite paying for full board, we had to go pay for food separately because I couldn't live on french fries... the food is tasteless, the cakes here are just salty and monotonous...There is no peace in the hotel, some "athlete" kids have taken over the entire floor and the one above, and they knock on our doors non-stop, leaving us exhausted by them. We approach the staff, they warn the kids, but the kids just keep doing the same thing. A few of us in neighboring rooms feel unwell, it's like we're in a circus. They are screaming in the hallways, on the terraces, in the restaurant, it's creepy...The maids clean everything, as far as that goes it's okay, and the location is okay, but the price-to-quality and peace ratio is a disaster! We are certainly never coming back here.
