Night before going to Santiago

Small hotel but with everything you need and very cozy. Super nice staff. Recommended 100%. We stopped for breakfast there at the May Bridge making the way. We didn't have time to pick up the compostela and we came back to get it and decided to stay here for the night as our flight from Madrid was very late and this hotel is 5 minutes from the airport. Buses leave from a very close junction for 3 € to Santiago.

Beutiful property

Nice and clean small hotel and the owner is super friendly and helpful. She speaks good english too. Our view from the second floor window was fabulous with the historic Santa Lucia chapel. Beutiful property!

The Last Stop

…just before Lavacolla is San Paio, if you blink you will miss it.
What u will not miss is this quaint, beautiful, rustic country home whom Elena and her husband have restored and turned into a beautiful stay on the camino.
Elena’s meticulous attention to detail shows thru in every lamp, painting, and candelabra, in each room. Her attention to detail is most rewarding to pilgrims, in the cleanliness and beauty of this place.
With only the sound of the wind, and the birds in the trees, this is truly the best place to stay right before you descend to Santiago.
If you can’t stay make sure u stop and have a coffee, a caña (beer), or one of their many plates from the Patio Bar. The food is wonderful, fresh, and made to order.
Another gem on the Camino, don’t miss it.

First Class Hospitality and Comfort

Stayed overnight at this guest house close to Santiago airport. The owners went to exceptional lengths to help me when I missed my flight connection meaning that I arrived around midnight by collecting me personally from the airport.
The owners are very warm and helpful and treated me more like a relative than a customer.
The accommodation is spotlessly clean and kitted out with top quality mattresses, bed linen and towels etc; meaning that the level of comfort is first class.
I have travelled all over the world on business and leisure and have never experienced such a warm welcome or good nights sleep on a first night’s stay.
Basic breakfast provisions are provided for a perfectly adequate self serve breakfast and there is a lovely cafe bar next door for dinner which is under the same ownership.

Magnífica estancia en un lugar de ensueño

La casera Elena es muy amable y nos trató de maravilla. Nos aconsejó donde ir a cenar. Tiene un pequeño hotel encantador. Muy buena cama y todo súper limpio. Y un magnífico English breakfast!! La aldea es preciosa y el hotel esta justo en frente de una pequeña iglesia,
Santa Lucía.
