Wonderful hotel, beautiful rooms, friendly staff, and the added bonus of an outdoor swimming pool. We had a fabulous overnight stay.

Cockroaches in the room
Upon entering the hotel, we were impressed by the beautiful room we had chosen; it should be noted that the cost for a 2-night stay with breakfast was only €538 for two adults and two children. The room is beautiful, spacious, and clean. Everything was going well until we found a large cockroach in the bathroom, we killed it, I told the front desk, and they said they would come up to fumigate the bathroom and clean it properly. We returned after a whole day of walking around and visiting Seville, and what was the surprise? Another one of the same size appeared in the shower . I went down to the front desk, told them again, and said that it was not normal for a hotel of this quality to have cockroaches in the rooms; they said they would come up to fumigate, and I told them that with two children, it was not normal to do that. I informed them that I was leaving that same night to go home, knowing that I had a 6-hour drive ahead and that I wanted my money back, which they said they could not do because they would have to report it and see what could be done. They did not care that I had to leave the hotel with two children at any moment. Not finding any hotel halfway, we decided to spend the night there a bad choice, and we could not sleep at all. We barricaded the bathroom door with towels so that they could not come in under the door since they said it could come in through the window (which had been closed the whole time). A chaotic night, to be honest. We woke up and found 2 in the bathroom again, one big and one small. But the worst part was when we turned on the light in the room and saw one running all over the room up to the wooden ceiling . That night they left us a bottle of champagne to apologize, which we do not drink, and they wanted to cover it with a simple bottle of champagne; it was not the solution I wanted. In the morning, we ran out of there because we were eager to leave. The girl at the front desk, who is not to blame, poor thing, asked us for photos and videos and apologized to us. I told her that they are used to having cockroaches in the room and that a hotel of that category did not seem normal to me at all. They are supposed to fumigate every 10 days, but their response is that this is what you get with a hotel in the city center.. It's a shame that our vacation ended badly because of these kinds of problems. We will never return, to be honest.

Suite below expectations.
We stayed in a suite and, unfortunately, the experience did not live up to what we expected from a hotel of this category.
From our arrival, the air conditioning in the room was not working correctly. Despite reporting it and the attempts to fix it, the problem persisted throughout our stay. We were traveling with two babies and, although we requested a room change, it was not possible to relocate us to another of the same category, which made the situation especially uncomfortable.
In addition, the suite's bathroom seemed poorly cared for to us and had a level of maintenance that could be improved for a room of this category and price.
As a positive aspect, we want to especially highlight the staff, who were very attentive and showed a willingness at all times to try to resolve the problem, although in the end it was not possible.
The rest of the stay and the facilities were fine, but considering it was a suite and a hotel of this level, we expected quite a bit more.

Better Than I Was Expecting
What a beautiful hotel, much more than I was expecting.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was very good and you can ask for an omelette/scrambled eggs..... to be made specially.
The location was great as all the main sights are within walking distance and loads of restaurants to choose from. I recommend Bodeguita la parihuela.
There is a rooftop bar with great views, especially of the Cathedral/Giralda.
It is open Thursday-Sunday but it is a shame it is not open all week as it is a great place for a final nightcap.
The rooms are beautiful and I so wanted to give this hotel 5* BUT sleep was a big problem.
There were vibration/mechanical/electric (???) noises through the night and day, some were small and didn't last long but a couple of others that were loud and went on for a long time.
The worst offended was coming from the pool area which was just outside my window which could be on in the night and often the afternoon when I got back from a full day of walking in the bright sunshine and heat and wanted to close my eyes for 30 minutes and hopefully a quick sleep.
I would still highly recommend this hotel, just ask on booking for a room that doesn't overlook the pool.

Our go-to hotel for the center of Seville.
Hotel in the middle of the tourist area of Seville, 2 minutes from the Giralda and 1 from Mateos Gago street, the main artery for good eating. Hotel in very good condition, very good rooms, good pool, and above all, friendly and very diligent staff. 10 out of 10. Highly recommended.
