BED BUG BITES – Hotel Offered Refund Only If Delete Review
We stayed at Futurotel Sevilla for 3 nights from May 9. During our stay, we developed red, swollen, and intensely itchy bumps on multiple parts of our bodies. At first we didn't know what caused them, but late at night on May 11 we found bugs on the bed sheets and confirmed the source. The front desk staff on duty saw the bugs, took photos, sprayed insecticide, and photographed dirty gaps under the mattress. She apologized but said any further action would have to wait until the manager was available in the morning.
When we checked out at daybreak, we were told to wait for email reply. We sought medical treatment ourselves. Itching was unbearable; we scratched all bumps, leaving scars on body and face. We still worry about long-term health effects.
This was the first stop of our Spain trip, and it completely ruined our 2-week Andalusia tour planned for 2 years. In the month following our departure, we sent multiple messages and emails to the hotel, but received no reply at all. Only on June 3 did the manager respond, but he avoided the insect issue and instead asked why we didn't leave immediately after the insect incident. We found the bugs at 2am and finished talking to the front desk past 3am – it was 3am, we had nowhere to go and could only wait until dawn.
He later claimed pest control found nothing and offered €88 partial refund – but demanded that we delete our review on Booking. We requested the so-called pest control inspection report, but received no response whatsoever.
The hotel ignored our complaints for weeks, then shifted blame and tried to buy our silence with a conditional refund. We refuse. We stand by every word here, hoping to warn others about this hotel's hygiene and how they handle complaints.

WATCH OUT FOR SCAM!
If you want to spend a sleepless night come to this lodging. False advertising. They highlight the capsule rooms but they are dormitories we are all piled on top of each other.
Sheets and showers are dirty hair in sheets and stains.... And constant noise. The staff are not friendly and make no effort to understand each other, speak quickly. Too many people per square meter. I would not recommend it at all. Fire alarm that lights for no reason at 4am.

Disappointing experience and misleading site

I booked by mistake through the website, convinced I was booking a room, when in reality it was a capsule. The site indicated free cancellation, but at the time of cancellation there was no refund: this seemed deceptive and unhonest.
The capsule itself was disappointing: the only thing working was the light. The air recirculation, USB sockets to charge the phone and TV were all faulty.
The bathroom in my dormitory had the door not closing properly, and when you could close it, there was a risk of getting stuck inside.
I also tried to contact reception before I arrived for clarification, but an employee did not understand English and hung up on me twice, making it impossible to get information.
Overall, very negative experience: in addition to the damage of the wrong booking, there was also the mockery of non-functioning services and little available staff. Not recommended.

Like sleeping in a biscuit tin . I would have got more peace in a hammock just an overpriced hostel
