Hostal Trajano all perfect

Super central location super friendly staff very good rooms to be hostel and very clean everything will definitely repeat if I return to Seville.

Practical & clean

The hotel is located rather centrally: the bis station Plaza de Armas is 15min walk away, the central sites are 5min away, shopping/supermarket are around the corner.
The room was very basic and furnished with simple furniture, nothing fancy and no decoration. There was a small tv but no aircon or hairdryer.
As my room was facing a side street there was surprisingly quite a bit of traffic noise and party people could be heard till the morning on a Friday night; I used ear plugs and kept the window closed but then it got quite warm in the room.
The bathroom was tiny but functional.
The staff at the reception barely spoke with me, no matter if I used Spanish or English. I found them a little unhelpful. Considering that I stayed at magnificent guesthouses and hostals in Spain for the less money I found this 1 star hotel a bit underwhelming.
The house itself is a beautiful old townhouse with a courtyard that could be upgraded easily if there were a few modifications in terms of bedding/furniture in the rooms.
The room was very clean.

Very clean but noisy.

Basic and dated but spotlessly clean. It's very noisy due to traffic and passing people. Some bed heads are against the neighbouring bathrooms and very noisy. Centrally located for buses to and from Airport and Santa Justa Train Station.
It's a cheap Hostal considering the prices locally. We would stay again.

Close to center for a good price.

Hostel near the center. Everything neat and clean. Rooms are small though. (but we were in town all day anyway) But the value for money is fine. If you still want to be close to the center for a limited budget, this is a great option.

Not recommended for those who want comfort

Tiny room, felt like a closet with a doubled bed squeezed in. Air conditioning not available in the morning, as its hotel policy to turn it off. So you wake up in a pool of your own sweat in a tiny box. This is a crazy policy to have: even in September when we stayed, temperatures reached well over 40!!
Plus side: location, cleanliness.
