Unfair deal for solo travellers

I recently stayed at La Puerta de Palacio in Seville and was deeply disappointed by their treatment of solo travelers. Despite paying the same price as a double room, I was given a tiny, suffocating box of a room with no air-conditioning and poor ventilation. It was like an oven, making it nearly impossible to get a decent night’s sleep.
It is unacceptable for a hotel to charge the same rates for vastly inferior accommodations simply because someone is traveling alone. This unfair practice shows a complete disregard for solo travelers, who deserve the same level of comfort as any other guest.
I would strongly advise solo travelers to avoid this hotel unless they are willing to pay for substandard conditions. There are far better options in Seville that actually value all their guests equally.

Outstanding location, otherwise, very normal.

Normal room, spectacular location. More than a hotel, it is a building with rooms for tourist rent. They have a room next to the entrance with sofas where you can have a coffee and a small reception during limited hours. We asked for daily change of towels and they did it without problems, also the beds, however, we did not notice that they cleaned the bathroom, for example, something quite important to me. I would especially stand out from the site the location, otherwise the room did not seem excessively comfortable or cozy.

Very well located hotel

The hotel is well located, close to restaurants and tourist activities but it is still very quiet. A nice little terrace. On the other hand, no breakfast, just a coffee machine, and no croissant even though advertised. Lack of storage in the room for clothes. The gentleman at reception is very nice and helpful, the lady much less friendly

I stayed at this property with my family. We had a very good time: comfortable, clean rooms and bathroom equipped with bidet and shower.
Excellent welcome from the staff.
