Well located, clean and pampering

The apartment was absolutely perfect: great location, very clean, well equipped and beautifully designed. The swimming pool was clean and refreshing. The complementary coffee and cakes on the ground floor were a real treat! I highly recommend staying there.

Bueno ma no buenisimo

The bathroom of the room was not perfect, never mentioned not having a normal shower but a bathroom-shower for handicap people (nothing against, but should have been mentioned). The water was spreading all around and making wet everything inside. The check-in was also not the best one, calling many times for 30mins to receive the code to access (we never received an email with codes confirmations etc).
The positive notea are the location of the favility, the pool on the top and the courdiality of the people on the phone trying to help us.

Beautiful Hotel, noisy street!

The hotel is fantastic – super clean, spacious, in a great location, and with a lovely rooftop pool.
Unfortunately, the noise from the street outside was unbearable. We stayed for four nights and it woke us up every single night. We live in London and are used to city noise, even with windows open during the summer, but we've never experienced anything like this.
Although the rooms have double-glazed windows, they seem to be poorly fitted, with gaps around the frames that let in a huge amount of noise. The street is narrow, so sound echoes between the buildings. There were people chanting at 4am, as well as constant lorries and trucks passing by. It was honestly the noisiest hotel we've ever stayed in, and we travel a lot.
It's such a shame because otherwise the hotel is excellent, but the noise would make me think twice about staying again. The hotel should consider providing earplugs while investigating ways to improve the soundproofing.
I've noticed other reviews mentioning this issue, with responses stating that it's a city-centre location. However, that doesn't fully explain it – people stay and sleep in city-centre hotels all over the world. For example, we've stayed in New York and never experienced noise levels anywhere close to this, despite it being a much busier city than Seville.

It was a memorable and happy experience. Will definitely stay there again when I visit Seville.

The location was very good, and so was our apartment. The overall ambiance was very good and quiet.

Relaxing & comfy stay with MYLU

Everything was perfect, suppwr attentive, proactive, supportive staff at Puerta Catedral. Aoartment located in great larea, close to main attractins however quiet and giving you a lot of privacy. The place is super comfy, nicely designed and equipped with all necessary arrangements. In kitchenette there is an express and all amenities to make your coffe (capsules, milk, sugar and even cookies). Lining and towels were of the highest quality as well as super comfy mattress. There is a tarrace located on the third floor with great panorama of the old city with beautiful view over the cathedral church. The swimming pool was great giving necessary cooling during hot June days. Tarrace is nicely decorated and equipped with sunbeds and relax area. On the ground floor there is an additional space where you could make a coffee, tee or have small snacks (fruits, cookies,). We would definitively return if travelling again to Sevilla
