Fantastic

We loved it. A hotel in the middle of a natural place without noise. Perfect for disconnecting and resting. I thought I had a free pool and nooo is a small Spa, which you can enjoy 90 min upon payment. Breakfast is good. The rooms comfortable and connected to each other.

Lack of maintenance

The truth is a little better than 4 stars.
The service has been good, but the lack of maintenance of the hotel and its contours speak for themselves. The gardens left much to be desired, lack of maintenance in pruning, holes, abandoned tennis court in the 90s.
The hotel itself, the cleanliness of rooms fine, large and comfortable room, but the curtains in bad shape, the terrace with railing in bad shape moved a lot. Shower with damage, broken ceilings, etc.
In short, the hotel is abandoned under maintenance, the Contra Service is very good.

Awful

We booked this hotel as we were walking the Camino Invierno. We knew that we could have difficulty finding bars, restaurants and cafes open as it was a Sunday.
This hotel said it has a bar and restaurant, so met our needs. WRONG! The receptionist said the bar and restaurant were not open to guests at weekends - only to the bus loads of tourists they had staying.
In addition the air conditioning was on winter mode until June, so we were baked in bed .
The breakfast was poor.

Very sad that we're still like this...

The room and beds were big but the room was pretty worn (the floor of the photo vs reality...). We arrived and the doors of the cupboards did not open well, there was a paper in the bathroom air (it will still continue), the faucets wrong...
Also, a scam the fact of the buffet. They do not comply with the health measures because no one watches the buffet and people take things with their hands that then put them back, if they run out the products do not replace them because, I quote, "they cannot know what people consume" (even though we arrived early...). Anyway, to catch this stay that is supposed to be "glamorous" it is better to spend 50 euros more and catch a room in Santiago that you will have more varieties at dinner or lunch (and of better quality).
To top it off, if you have any problems like we had the answers you get, they can't be held responsible for anything. Unbelievable lack of professionalism.
Of course, all the receptionists we have treated and the cafeteria staff on weekdays are 10, only they would be saved and it is a shame that they work like this...

Excellent Stay

Lovely hotel, friendly attentive team who sorted any minor issues effectively, efficiently and without fuss.
Spacious room, very clean and comfortable. Food and service excellent, all in all a great place to stay.
Very clean throughout and made us feel very welcome
