Basic hotel convenient for an evening arrival on the ferry for those who don't want to drive far on the first night. Hotel overlooks open countryside to the town beyond. Rooms could do with better soundproofing, ours was just above open reception area and quite noisy and we could hear water pumping around all the time.

I would suggest the property has seen better times but we found the staff to be extremely pleasant and helpful. I have paid far more money and received far worse attention.

Small hotel in need of remodeling

We went with a group from IMSERSO and the best staff, who do everything: reception, waitresses and room service.
The hotel with about 30 rooms, needs a thorough renovation, as it has stayed in the 80s. Many stairs, little space in common areas and a single elevator for four people.
It has free parking
Plugs are missing, TV is small, mattresses are acceptable, two pillows, they remove the centralized heating and bathrooms with low water pressure, old-fashioned bathtubs and plastic curtains, fair bath towels of size and did not change them in five days, or sheets.
The food was served at the table, with a fixed menu and acceptable food with some lack of quality. Breakfast (in self-service) very fair: toast (with a single toaster), coffee already made in large coffee machine, a kind of cake, cookies, cheese and york ham.
Location on the outskirts, although distances in Suances are driveable.

Normal, doubtful to repeat.

Very normal. Terrible service, bad faces, bad manners and worse responses. Normal rooms and average food. We were a large group of friends. More or less close to the beach. It has parking, which for the area is not bad.

Stayed one night at the Albatross. The hotel appears to be targeting Spanish families rather than international tourists, and it did that very well. Room was compact and basic, but had all that was needed for one night, and the cost was very reasonable. No aircon so could be a bit hot in summer, although it was OK for our stay. Good on-site restaurant, and excellent breakfast available. Large, free car park on the site was a bonus. Suances is a great beach-side resort and well worth a visit.
