Pure relaxation and excellent service
Tarifa is my place to get lost and the Hotel Event offers me everything I need. It is ideal for relaxing, the location is perfect for going to the beach and walking to town. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very clean. All the employees are super attentive and friendly. Maria at the front desk, Alba, Raquel, and Claudia, waitresses, have made my stay perfect.

It's a want and can't hotel 4* real 3*
I paid September at August prices and when I arrived they had removed the option of breakfast a la carte having paid 198 euros a night.. besides the olive oil they use is filled and transparent color.. . the facilities are new but the finishes very poorly finished is a..I want and I can not... the last night at 5.30 am I raised the fire alarm and it was ringing 14 minutes and the receptionist was not able to turn it off.. we all went down startled and I just knew to say it's okay... the hotel had to have offered a free late check out or some kind of compensation and they just put the breakfast girl to apologize.

Con respecto a la alarma de incendios, le pedimos disculpas por las molestias ocasionadas. Fue una incidencia técnica puntual y entendemos perfectamente el malestar que pudo generar en plena madrugada. Hemos revisado de inmediato nuestros protocolos para que no vuelva a suceder.
En cuanto a nuestro desayuno, comprendemos su comentario y lamentamos que el cambio de formato a partir de septiembre no haya sido de su agrado. Respecto al aceite de oliva, queremos aclarar que no se trata de un producto rellenado, sino de envases homologados de calidad, en cumplimiento de la normativa vigente.
Agradecemos también sus observaciones sobre los acabados de las instalaciones, que compartiremos con los equipos responsables para seguir mejorando.
Nuestro objetivo es siempre ofrecer la mejor experiencia posible, y esperamos tener la oportunidad de recibirle nuevamente para cambiar la impresión que se ha llevado.

Satisfied but not entirely
I state that my judgment is based on one night only and therefore may be incomplete.
Strong points: large room with terrace, beautiful swimming pool, private parking and efficient staff during check in and check out.
Not entirely convincing aspects: the hotel is quite far from the Puerta de Jerez, which is the access to the casco antiguo, the area where the locals are concentrated. Since the busy summer evenings do not allow you to park your car in the few parking spaces available in the area, the only option to reach the nightlife streets remains a taxi. Feasible for a limited stay like ours, also for the low cost, not very comfortable for longer stays.
Another aspect that I personally was not convinced is the (ethnic?) style of the common areas. The reception area from the outside seems one of those post-industrial settings with an unfinished appearance and even a little abandoned that do not befit a 4-star hotel. Even the breakfast room is a large, somewhat anonymous space that reminded me of certain school canteens, don’t mind the architects who designed the spaces and furnishings.
Rich breakfast with decent proposals but last note, improve the coffee!

Modern, despite location look quiet!
Simple but good 4* hotel. Location on one of Tarifa's infall roads, yet quiet. All rooms have balconies and go out to the back overlooking the pool. With a bit of luck you get a parking space right next to the hotel. Otherwise there is also an underground garage (2 x right and then first exit to the garage). Amazingly rich breakfast buffet with own egg menu. All egg dishes are freshly prepared and brought to the table. For a night in transit absolutely great. Walk on the waterfront to the port and the old town. 30-40 minutes.
