Good experience

Buen hotel, located in the Cigarales district of Toledo, has forty rooms, a similar antique although with some porteior renovation.
Breakfast a la carte, bright rooms, excellent service.
As the only drawback is its remoteness from Toledo, or there is car or the most comfortable is the taxi (between 7 and 12 eros per race)

A good experience overall

I cannot fault anything major about this hotel. The gentleman on reception when we arrived was friendly, helpful and polite. Check-in was straightforward. Our room was absolutely fine with a great view of the city from our spacious terrace. The fridge was very useful, the rain shower excellent and the room. - and whole hotel - spotless.
The pool was beautiful and a pleasure to use. It was reassuring to see a full time pool attendant there during all opening hours.
The hotel does not do an included breakfast. Instead, you take breakfast from an á la carte menu and pay per item. It is waiter served. What we ate was fine but we both felt the choices available were too limited.
Dinner was “ok”. Nothing that we couldn’t eat with some satisfaction but also noting special. We feel the weakest point of the hotel is its catering. Main courses were delivered while we were still eating the starters.
My biggest issue is the price of drinks. €10 for a gin & tonic is way too much. I think the bar prices might explain why I was the ONLY person in the bar each evening. Also, the bar lighting was much too bright - severe even. I felt like I was drinking in an operating theatre.
The range of drinks available is extremely limited. How much effort would it take to install a shelf and stick a wider range of drinks? All that was available was what could be stuffed into the fridge. I think the hotel had a lot going for it but the carrying and bar need to be upgraded.

Very helpful staff; clean and cool room; lunch (not served every day, though) was very good. Pool was mostly fantastic - big, good temperature, sunny all day but also shade, with towels supplied. The lounges could've used cushions, but my main complaint is that the pool didn't open until noon! Orherwise an excellent hotel.

Was looking for easy parking it was and the best fabulous views over Toledo while having a great paella/arroz for dinner
Only € 10 taxi right to the centre
Enjoyed it
Room basic but well looked after and shuttered windows which I love to give a dark night for sleep 💤
Breakfast was good and loved that yo just chose and paid for what you wanted

Hotel very clean and in a beautiful typical villa of Toledo with sublime views

We slept one night at the Abaceria Hotel in Toledo and our stay was perfect. The hotel is located in front of Toledo with a magnificent view of the city. The staff is nice and professional. The room overlooking Toledo is very clean and comfortable as is the bathroom. There is free parking within the hotel and secure. We had breakfast on the beautiful terrace. The only small drawback is that it is not very well soundproofed and you can hear the flush or shower of the neighboring rooms. I highly recommend the hotel Abaceria. Possibility to walk to the center of Toledo but 30 minutes walk.
