Good but it could easily be so much better

The apartment is spacious, 1 bedroom on the 3rd floor [access via lift] and had a great view over other buildings to the sea. The location is very central and close to the beach. However it was in a different block, across the street, to the swimming pool. You also need a card to access the pool , which we knew nothing about, and the swimming boy on duty wouldn't let us enter eventhough we'd proof we were residents. This gave a sour note to our stay as the "swimming boy" as he was called wouldn't act with reason eventhough the reception was closed for the weekend. We had to make calls to the owner who then had to contact swimming boy to let us in. The apartment wasn't cleaned once in two weeks and the towels were changed once. The complex however is spotless. The apartment is slightly rough around the edges but we really liked it. However the receptionist just wasn't very welcoming or friendly and was hard to pin down. There was no communication and he never told us about the cards needed for the pool. The other pain is the keys. You need a key access the lifts, however if one of you is going out earlier than the other then one of you ultimately has to walk down or up the steep stairs. I didn't see a safety deposit though there .ay be one. All that said I really liked the apartment and its view and it's definitely good value for money. The air con is great , there is no WiFi in block B even if you pay for it and the TV has no English channels (didn't bother us). The water is gas heated though with large gas tanks on the balcony. There's little storage space and the cupboard was tiny with broken doors. Would I go back.....???? Absolutely I would. I would give 4 out of 5 but that would be more heart than head tbh and a 3 would be a more realistic score.

Apartment is as always ok.

We've been coming here for 20 years. But this year it leaves something to be desired by the pool. Probably the cubes where the umbrellas are located were not maintained last winter. All hinges are rusted, so the lids do not close completely. Many who stay by the pool now use those bins as trash cans. Yesterday even saw a pamper stuck in it. Resulting in stench and insects. When one says that to one of the janitors he shrugs???

NO ACCESS TO THE POOL

We found out that we couldn't enjoy the pool a few days before we went. They told us that the owner has problems with the neighborhood community and that is why the tenants cannot enjoy the pool.
We took that apartment because of the pool, so we felt cheated.

Beware

Unless you are renting a residents apartment you will not have access to the pool or surrounding area. Free Wifi is only available in the reception area which is only open for a few hours each week day.

HORRENDOUS PLACE

Staff were absolutely horrendous, we were accused of stealing a put up bed and were told the charge was €150! The manager was vile, rude and condescending. The place wasn’t safe, bare exposed live wires, the front cover fell off the plus socket and the bath was filled with black hair and other bodily matter.
The place is run like a military prison, not the experience we expected.
There were scaffolding and builders carrying out extensive repairs to the building which we were not made aware of prior to booking.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
I wouldn’t let my dog reside in that place
