Wonderful alberque. Be prepared for a bit of a different experience. To help eliminate unwanted bed bugs, which hitch a ride on pilgrims bags, your gear is stored in lockers downstairs and a laundry basket provided to bring up what's needed. Your gear in the locker is secured by a key and another locker upstairs as well. The beds are made and the shower, sink, toilet ratio per person is excellent. The only "flaw" is no shaded area to wait before the 4pm open. You can sit on the grass in back, but a few chairs or a bench would have been good.

Disability discrimination

"I have tried to make a reservation at this establishment for the dates of August 5 to 9 and my experience has been regrettable. After requesting accessible accommodation, the hostel's response has been a series of constant refusals, justifying themselves first by saying that 'they are not obligated to have spaces for disabled people' and, finally, claiming that they have no availability, even though the system continues to show free spaces for those same dates.
It is unacceptable for a tourist establishment to manage its reservations by denying access based on the client's disability. They deliberately confuse the lack of adapted facilities with their legal obligation not to discriminate and to treat all users equally. Denying the existence of available spaces to avoid hosting a person with a disability, contravening the principle of equal treatment, is a behavior that must be reported.
This establishment not only fails to comply with its service duties, but also demonstrates an absolute lack of professional ethics, ignoring the legal framework that guarantees non-discrimination (Law 15/2022 and Royal Legislative Decree 1/2013). I recommend avoiding this place, since their priority is not customer service, but the active exclusion of people with accessibility needs."

Rebound

Performing the Camino del Norte I spent Cadavedo in the middle of the Regalina festival. I got to this bounce hostel...total hit!!! Very well everything, the welcome, the stay, the dinner, the bunk bed, the breakfast, the facilities, the garage for the bike... until the travelers I agreed with.
It is nice to find accommodation where you are (almost) at home.

A great place!

It's an amazing place to stay, especially for those on the Camino. Everything is new and clean, all the details are well-thought-out. And we got freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast - how many albergues/hotels would offer the same? :)
