Excellent hotel & location
Booked our honeymoon here and from arrival was made to feel special with balloons and cards left on our bed. We had a junior suite with the biggest bed ever. The room was spacious with fab shower area. Coffee machine and big tv for background noise whilst getting ready. Super cleaned each day.
Huge double aspect windows. There are no views from the hotel as it is situated down a very Spanish side street but we only used the room as a base.
Pool area was clean but we didn’t use it.
Our room was right opposite the lift but we didn’t here it / people at all. Very quiet.
The hotel is perfectly positioned to explore the city and the 19 bus to the beach a 5 minute walk away. The beach area is worth a visit or two. A couple of different areas there with quirky bars, restaurants and coffee shops. Our favourite part was Alboraia. The area is Spanish and vibrant.
Our second visit to a One Shot Hotel. Previous in Porto. Would highly recommend.

Central hotel with charm
We (my daughter with her boyfriend, my husband, and I) had a great time in Valencia at the One Shot Mercat. The staff is very friendly and the welcome and farewell greetings are nicely written. The breakfast was delicious, especially the egg dishes that one orders. It is a Spanish breakfast without sausage and cheese, but with plenty of fruit, muesli, sweet pastries, and an ordering task, completely sufficient. Since the hotel is very centrally located, everything can be easily reached on foot. We found it great that one can simply set out and return to the hotel in between to then set out again. Without public transport. It is a bit further to the beach, but we even walked there once. All in all, a pleasant stay. We would book the hotel again

Amazing little hotel in the heart of the old town, with the added bonus of a rooftop pool, which was very much needed after a day of exploring in the July spanish heat! Staff were amazing and so helpful. Ideal location, close to loads of great bars, restaurants and cool things to see! Rooms were spacious and had a really unique feel to them. 10/10 would highly recommend 👌

Elegant, yes surprisingly heartless
I have been coming here for several years now. In fact it is a part of my annual trip to Spain in January - I stay here on the way in and the way out of the country. It’s extremely elegant with plain brick walls, illuminated ceilings decorated with church ceiling designs, wood floors and various refinements. The TV rarely shows anything worthwhile and the channels are usually mostly dead. However one doesn’t mind that too much. The breakfast is a little lacklustre but this is Valencia - good food is available everywhere. Bathrooms are good. Lighting is usually good although bedside lights are on stems, and often unruly, and quite often non functional. The staff are also rather nice. What has dragged them down this time however is their surprising heartlessness. Even though they know me and my friend with whom I usually visit, the fact that I had to attend hospital urgently at the last moment and would thus be a day late inspired not a single drop of empathy. They resolutely refused to move the booking, saying that the lead time (which was over two weeks) was not enough, and that we would have to cancel it and lose the money. Which we duly did. And had to book a further night at full cost. This has soured the hotel for me and it is certainly a little short sighted as not only am I a regular guest, but I regularly recommend the place to others both personally and through the tourism connections I encounter as part of my work. It is exceedingly unlikely that I will do so again, given this situation aforementioned.

I want to sincerely apologize for the initial inflexibility you encountered. When I reviewed your case and saw the details of what happened, I didn't hesitate to process this refund. We value your continued support and the recommendations you share through your work in tourism, and we regret that this experience left a bitter taste.
For future bookings, I do recommend selecting a flexible rate to provide peace of mind for unforeseen circumstances, as we know how unpredictable travel can be.

The location is right next to the Central Market. The front desk staff is very helpful. And the room is spacious.
The maintenance of the property is not super good. The ceiling light is flashing. The bottom of the bathroom door and the joint part where the shower space and the floor are broken and need to be refinished.
