Disconnection and relaxation
Very quiet place in a very nice setting. The house hotel is spectacular, we were very comfortable in the room where we had good views of the countryside.
Very good rest at night where all the stars are appreciated.
The Spa is enough as you have the time reserved to be alone.
Breakfast good quality products, a spectacular homemade potato omelette, very rich sausages and brutal croissants.
The Hotel is Pet Friendly.
Overall, good staff attention, super friendly; we were given a room on the 2nd floor that was beautiful, with two windows and a very complete bathroom.
We'll repeat for sure!

Disappointment!!!
The access road was torture (if you find a vehicle in the opposite direction you can not pass).The hotel very nice until you get to the room....for 260 euros I expected something else. Just a bottle of water, no detail or amenities. Small room, uncomfortable mattress, bathroom had dirty wall, curtain smudged and no shower worked. The only option for dinner was a tasting menu or menu 50/80 euros per person (the worst thing is that there was nowhere to dine in kilometers).The breakfast sausage good quality but there was nothing hot (eggs, bacon, sausages).

Capital disappointment. We've been there for many years and it was perfect. Something different than we found this weekend. We stayed in the adjoining part of the hotel and it has been a nonsense; namely.
Room number 4
There were butts on the floor of the room.
There was a frame with the hotel amenities and it was broken.
The preframe of the room sink was ripped off.
It smelled very damp.
I'm not against dogs, but maybe you shouldn't allow them to stay, because the sofas in the common areas were dirty, and if you come to rest, you can't wake up because of the barking of the neighbors' dogs.
We took the elevator (and it was extremely sloppy) to go to the Spa - namely pool with dry sauna-
The restaurant acceptable but expensive for being a 4 star hotel. They know that the distance to go to any village to go to dinner is considerable and they take advantage.
On the bright side, I would highlight the environment. Extremely amazing with spectacular views. It has a brutal outdoor pool and tennis court
There is possibility to charge electric car
In short and from my humblest opinion, it is not worth the excessive price you pay

This place could be fabulous!
The hotel is very tired and dated; the grounds are with beautiful but suffering from a lack of water in the region, hence the water features and gardens were not at their best.
But now, faint praise turns to condemnation.
Breakfast is ok, but the evening meal was vastly disappointing. Starters, 1 option only, were passable; Vegetarian options were limited to one, and were unimaginative at best and unpleasant at worst.Non vegetarian options also limited to 1 choice - very small portions and barely passable; desserts, 1 option only and three times a blob of ice cream in a messy pool of some indiscriminate juice. One should not come here for an evening meal in the anticipation of anything vaguely gastronomic. I also found it odd that one fellow guest came down 10 minutes before breakfast started, to make a cup of tea and was charged for a tea bag!!
I have not stayed in a "4 star hotel" before, where in the best rooms there were no bathrobes, no slippers, no large bath towels, no cotton buds, no cotton wool, no sanitary towels; no coffee and tea facilities, no paper pad by the telephone, nor pencil, and a bottle of water in the room, only every 3 days! Oh and what about the brown loo paper - probably justified on eco grounds but unpleasant to look at or use!
Hotel management and staff are, in my experience anyway, usually helpful and pleasant. Here with one fabulous exception on reception, the staff were hands off to the point of being deliberately rude. I got the overriding feeling (and other guests agreed) that you actually were not welcome to stay there.

Great place, well worth a stay
Nice hotel with a split architecture, the main building is in a French style with a terrace and atrium while the rest of the accommodation is in the converted original farmhouse. Spacious grounds and a well kept garden with nice areas to sit.
The service is excellent though some of the staff are more helpful and cheerful than others. Special mention for Angela who gave us the most pleasant breakfast.
The food is good, with some interesting dishes. There is a lot of choice on the carte but if like us you stay a week, you might struggle. As you would expect in Spain, dinner is at 8pm , breakfast at 8.30, but they are not always ready by then.
If you come in the summer, the swimming pool is impressive with plenty of seating and umbrellas.
