A hotel that's more of a hostel right now
I didn't like the state of the hotel's dereliction, the hotel sign was broken, the outdoor area dirty, the restaurant had an open area and the rails of the shutters were dirty and full of cobwebs. The signs in the restaurant were in bad shape and little or no light as the light bulbs or light sources were broken. There was dust and dirt on doors, floors, and chairs. The hotel's cafe area the same, dirty and sweet food chambers full of dirt. The cafeteria seats are glued to the wall and reach the reception, mixing the two spaces and giving feelings of ambient noise and disorganization and the entire cafeteria area dirty and maintenance free. The hotel entrance is also dirty, with tables outside in the shape of dirty barrels and full of tobacco butts.The entrance ramp with the anti-slip totally broken. Access to the hotel through the front door did not seem like the entrance to a hotel but to a tavern.The messy and dirty reception with papers and filing cabinets everywhere and decorated and furnished in tune with the hotel decoration but meaningless. Packing boxes, van seats that could be seen from the window, were in the reception. The reception seemed more like a warehouse than a place where you are greeted when staying. The rooms were in bad shape, dirty and spoiled floors. The box spring of the bed moved continuously and the legs swung. The access windows to the terrace were very dirty and could not be opened properly because the rails were very dirty. The terrace and the chairs and tables also with weather dirt.The sheets and pillows were clean and correct although the mattress had no protector.The towels and bathroom very clean but the door of the screen broken. The walls need an image wash. The decor of the hotel and the rooms is the only thing that saves you as the art deco style is very well reflected. Pets allowed but with a supplement of 15 euros, excessive for the state of the hotel.
A lot of money has been invested in the decoration but it has not been known to amortize the investment because of the general dearth of the hotel and spaces. The location is correct as despite not being in the center the hotel has very good location and in the area there are services of all types included bus line.

ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE
I stayed at this hotel because I urgently needed to rest after a complicated operation and under very strong medication. I wasn’t having a good personal time, it was a very difficult Christmas, and all I asked for was rest.
I expressly requested a double bed, because I needed to be comfortable and quiet. Arriving around 5pm (a reasonable time), I repeated my request and the answer was that the room had two single beds and that I put them together. I was shocked. If that was the solution, honestly, I would have stayed on my couch.
The night was impossible: a very loud hum of the fridge constantly woke me up. I couldn't sleep at all. At one point I tried to phone reception and they took about 45 minutes to answer. I thought seriously: what if I have an emergency? The doctors had recommended that I be somewhat supervised and, due to the situation, I could not take my medication and I had horrible pains.
I went down to reception to talk to the manager. The receptionist told me she wasn't there, but then she said she'd call her. Finally the manager appeared with a false smile, a superb attitude, and zero empathy. I tried to calmly explain why she was not satisfied and her answer was that she is not responsible for her guests, that we are only paying humans. Not a single apology, not even the slightest attempt to put yourself in my place.
I felt slighted, intimidated and treated like I was stupid. It was a bullying experience and the worst customer treatment I've ever received.
This hotel does not deserve 3 stars. The Burgos hotel commission should seriously review its classification. The lack of humanity, professionalism and attention in such a delicate situation is absolutely unacceptable.

Cold buffet breakfast and badisimo coffee
Breakfast cold buffet and bad coffee, we were a group of 23 people who stayed two nights we said it from the beginning and they did not remedy it

GREAT EXPERIENCE, AMAZING CARE
New Year's Day and we went to eat with the family, a good menu, good quantity and everything right, the best service, the super attentive metre, friendly, resolved any doubts we had it is nice to see professionals today, made us feel at home and that is not easy, we will repeat for sure,

Good hotel not really close to downtown.
The rooms were comfortable and the terrace overlooked a park.
