Pleasant hotel, attentive staff.
Hotel close to the center and the beach.
The pool is very pleasant!!!
The setting is quite nice.
The negative point for the family rooms: no air conditioning and unlike other places it was complicated temperature-wise during the night.
Very clean room.
Special mention for the staff who were really very attentive!

A good break in Pasikuda
We stayed in the 2 rooms on the beach, 5 minutes' walk from the residence.
Very clean and pleasant rooms, good bedding, no air conditioning but ceiling fans that do the job.
We were very well welcomed throughout our stay.
The pool is very large and clean and the beach is magnificent
The dishes offered are good and the breakfasts are hearty

A Must Stay While in Pasikuda
If wanting to be out of the hussle and bussle of Pasikuda, Aki Villa's is definitely the place to be.
A warm and heartfelt welcome will await you, along with a beautiful crystal clear pool and lovely garden surrounds.
This is Sri Lanka at its best, homely, caring & filed with love.
500m to the beach, the bathroom of the Villa rooms are the best we've experienced.
We had dinner and breakfast, simple and delicious.
No request is too much trouble.

Great tranquil getaway!!
Beautiful and a green villa. Consists of 9 small villas. We stayed in a family villa with 2 rooms and quite comfortable for 4 guests. Loads of greenery within the compound. Friendly staff and good service. Lied the dog in the property called “Tsunami”. Accompanied us to the beach which is across the road about 300 meters. Great place for a quiet getaway

Sandy beaches as far as the eye can see, fishermen, many different ethnicities and cultures... Perfect for long-term stays.
I went there for a little over two weeks in April 2022 and liked it so much that I stayed there for a month from February 2023. I hope to go again. Some villas have air conditioning and some don't, but the building is designed so that hot air escapes through the roof, so you can stay comfortable with just a ceiling fan. A daily breakfast is included, and if you don't want to eat outside, you can leave it to them and they will make you a wonderful meal for three meals. All the fish was caught on the beach that day. When I asked them if they didn't buy it at the market, they got angry and asked me if I could eat frozen fish. The Sinhalese owner, who doesn't eat meat, has a hobby of growing tropical fruits and vegetables and is particular about organic, so you can eat it with peace of mind. If you want, you can try more than 10 different kinds of bananas.
The east coast of Sri Lanka is mainly inhabited by Muslim people in the towns, and mainly by Tamil people (about 70% Hindu and about 30% Christian) on the coast. Buddhist Sinhalese people are in the minority here. It is a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural and multi-religious area, so if you are interested in such things, it would be very interesting to go around the village behind the villa (you can rent a bicycle at the villa).
You cannot swim at the beach, which is a five-minute walk from the villa, but apart from a few rowed fishing boats lined up on the beach, there is a deserted beach as far as the eye can see. It is great to take a walk or run there in the morning and evening.
The rowed fishing boats leave before dark and return around 7am, so around that time, peddlers gather and you can see them auctioning. Of course, you can buy fish. If you go about 15 minutes by bicycle, there is another beach where outboard motor fishing boats gather, which leave in the evening and also return around 7am. Peddlers gather on the beach and auction here too. It takes capital to operate an outboard motor fishing boat, so there are three bosses who manage the fishing boats and lend fuel money to the fishermen to run the business. When the boss comes to the beach in the morning, he offers flowers to the Hindu shrine and the Virgin Mary, prays, and starts his work for the day. The village is divided into two areas: one where rowing fishermen mainly live, and the other where outboard motor fishermen mainly live, which is also very interesting.
Kalkudah also has a high-end resort hotel district, and you can enjoy public beaches and diving tours around the coral reefs.
The difficult part is getting there from Colombo International Airport on the west coast. You can take the train, but it takes time and is troublesome. It costs money because fuel prices have skyrocketed due to the economic collapse, but I think it's best to have the villa provide a car to pick you up at the airport. The price is the same whether you're alone or with 2-3 people, so it's a good idea to go as a couple or with friends.
