Perfect !!

The hubby and I have just returned from a 3 week stay here. It is an absolute gem and I can't believe it only has a few reviews. I certainly don't hesitate in highly recommending it. Dilanee (sorry for the spelling), her husband and family are so friendly and go out of their way to look after you. Breakfasts are amazing and huge!! Apart from the fresh fruit, juice, eggs, toast, jam, tea/coffee, we were treated to some traditional home cooked Sri Lankan dishes as well and they were gorgeous. Upstairs are the rooms which are a great size. We stayed in 2 throughout our stay, both with balconies and spotlessly clean (as is the whole accommodation) and have to say the beds are really comfortable complete with mosquito nets, powerful ceiling fan and a/c. There is a communal area with seating where free tea/coffee are available.
The location was perfect for us. The area itself is very peaceful (as is most of Bentota) but you are only a 2 minute walk to the beach, railway station, bank, atm and cafes. There is also a handy little shop opposite.
All in all we had a fabulous holiday and cannot thank Dilanee and her family enough.

3 Nights Stay

A very clean and lovely room with AC. The house is close to the railway and the beach.
The host was friendly and very attentive, I could even send in some laundry.
The breakfast was great and included.
I can absolutely recommend it

Lovely hosts, great location!

We booked this hotel on the fly (Due to being double booked elsewhere) and could not believe this place actually needed adding onto Tripadvisor!
The hosts were some of the friendliest people we have come across in Sri Lanka. The room was very clean, the bed was super-comfy, the water was as hot as you like and the breakfast was much better than the usual in Sri Lanka (They actually knew how to make toast!!)
Again, the hosts were impeccable and even helped with my partners cold by supplying all manner of natural remedies. They really knew how to make you feel at home. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!
Only critisism would be the Wifi not being up to scratch but this is the norm for Sri Lanka.

Прекрасное и уютное место

Первый гестхаус после перелёта. Заказали от них трансфер, дешевле чем в аэропорту и очень быстро (ехал по платной дороге). Размене на втором этаже, есть маленькая кухня, где можно согреть чай. Тихая улица, до пляжа идти очень быстро. Хозяйка просто чудесная женщина, всегда было готова помочь. Завтраки однообразные, но ооочень вкусные. Цена/качество геста 5/5.

Très bon point de chute à bentota

Proche de la ville, de la mer et de la rivière, l'emplacement est impeccable! La chambre est propre, TRES bien équipée et confortable. Le petit déjeuner était TRES bon quoique européen. Seul bémol, nous n'avons pas trouvé la piscine. Nous avons également eu ce type de prestation pour moins de 30€ au Sri Lanka!
