Nice location, nice people, nice bed, giga breakfast

Everyone who works here is super friendly and does his best to make everything as nice as possible. One is very shy, the other likes to chat, but they came across as genuine. We felt almost familiar here instead of tourists, very nice!
It is a nice quiet place with nice garden and a small swimming pool. You can walk nearby to the lake and rock for a beautiful sunset.
Our bed was nice, the room was fine. Bathroom smelled sometimes less and had no hot water, but no problem for us. The breakfast was disproportionate, but really way too much and very tasty, and the staff so very nice and helpful.
We would definitely come back here:)

Excellent!

The only reason we rated 4 out of 5 is that this accommodation is a bit remote to the city. Not because of the distance but due to a constant traffic jam. As a trade off you stay in an very quit neighbourhood without the sound of any traffic.
The owner, miss Manahari, takes very good care of you and is helpfull with any question you have. If you need her she's there, otherwise you won't notice her presence.
Clean, spacious rooms with airco and a nice tropical garden. And last but not least: on your request she serves a fantastic Sri Lankan meal. Just the way we like it best!

Fantastic B&B in Colombo

We stayed here for 3 nights and we were very happy we chose this bed and breakfast. Manahari, the hostess, was so helpful with everything. Great recommendations. And the Sri Lankan breakfasts...!!!!! amazing. The room was terrific, spacious for two with a lovely balcony. We had use of the galley kitchen downstairs so we could keep cold drinks and ice. It was nicely just on the outskirts of Colombo - tuk tuk prices to Colombo Fort were around 350 - 500 rupees, depending on the driver :-) . Also, we were going to take the train from Colombo to Unawatuna, but our hostess recommended to take a coach from the bus station. Very happy we did. Instead of a 2.5 hour train ride with out any guarantee of a sitting place, we rode in an air-con comfy coach for 410 rupees each! fantastic. Thanks, Manahari!

Cosy, Friendly and Felt like at Home!

Home away from home! The room was quite comfortable and spacious. The few meals I had there was just scrumptious. Great location and not far from the main city, Colombo. Very private and loved the decor and the architecture of the entire property. Most recommended place to stay in Colombo - away from the hustle and bustle.

A lovely place and a unique warm family

We visited the family in the centre of Colombo. We felt like a home comming family member and enjoyed to rest and dine for some nights before we moved on. We highly recommend this lovely place. If you need help help in any way this is a family to trust.
