I had a wonderful stay
I had a wonderful stay here at Star Class. It is like having your own big beautiful house. The owner is very nice and friendly. The breakfast was delicious. I ordered a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast and it was really good. I would highly recommend staying here. The price was really good and you get a lot for your money.

Best place to Explore CMB & Experience Authentic SriLankan FOOD at Tunapaha Rest
Very Near to immigration office and best place to stay and the get the Pass Port done in one day. Very Friendly and helpful advise from Mr & Mrs Chamal to get around Colombo. His advise went a long way Visiting Thunapaha Restaurant at Waters Edge where you can Experience All Types of Sri Lankan Food served in Traditional way at one go and the Train Restaurants which is walking distance from Star Class Comfort. Best place to stay in Comfort & experience Colombo Value for Money Good Service & Clean Quiet environment

Awesome Stay - Wonderful Hosts
Our stay at this place was very comfortable, refreshing and it goes without saying that this place was much above our expectations. The hosts are wonderful couple who took good care of us during our stay out here. Before I go on with writing a review, I must thank all those who have written reviews for this place as the reviews were helpful. Yes, I agree to all positive reviews about this place.
Beginning with the day we landed in Colombo (21 Dec 2017). We picked-up a cab from the airport for LKR-3500 to reach this place. Yeah, best is to tell your cab driver about exact coordinates (ie address) to reach here to avoid any hassles. Google navigation helped us to reach here. Also, we made our cab driver speak to the owner of this place for ease of reaching here.
Star Class Comfort in Capital City (SCCC) is a huge bungalow with three floors and we were two families who were accommodated on 2nd and 3rd floor. The interiors are very well done up and beginning with the ground floor which has a drawing and dining, the second floor has a sitting area with a LCD television, kitchen and a living room (where we stayed). The fine wooden stairs lead you to the top floor where the second set of accommodation is there. On this floor, there is a balcony where we people spend our evening and the view across is beautiful (early morning). The wifi internet is there and best to use when sitting in the drawing room or dining area. The rooms are comfortable with good quality of linen, washrooms are very comfortable and hot water is available for bathing. Also, wardrobes are provided for keeping your stuff. Air conditioner was good and we were very comfortable.
Hosts were kind enough to serve us with a lavish breakfast on our first morning and also, I would like to mention that since we had to leave early for the airport on the second day, very kind of the hosts to provide us with hot tea at 4:45 am.
On our reaching this place, we were welcomed by the hosts and within minutes, we felt 'at home' in a foreign land. While sipping hot tea prepared for us, we interacted with the couple (hosts) about 'places of interest' in and around this place. We decided to spend our evening at Galle Face and a from a little distance from this place, we did our first tuk-tuk ride to Galle Face (you got to haggle a bit with the tuk-tuk drivers) and a tuk-tuk to Galle Face will cost you LKR-300 (one way). Galle Face is a much recommended place for those who wish to spend an evening while in Colombo. The evening sun set is great and the place has plenty of street food eating. Our actual plan was to spend an evening at Ministry of Crab but these guys were heavily booked and our reservation was not confirmed :(
Overall, if you wish to order something from KFC or Pizza Hut while at this place, the home delivery options are great. Our food orders reached us within 30 minutes. For more suggestions, you may write to me at rajesh.bakhshi13@gmail.com

A fantastic, homely B & B with very helpful owners
A very clean & a comfortable B&B, close to most of the amenities & closer to a major suburb of Colombo with all the facilities that a traveller would need. The hosts, Chamal & Samanthi, were very caring hosts. They provided home cooked wholesome breakfasts & other meals, on request. The nearby well maintained, beautiful & pleasant walking tracks were a bonus! The ride back to the airport in Chamal's own car was a welcome extra, too!

Delightful experience
We paid 1,000 rupees for a 3 wheeler from the Dutch Hospital and our driver found it very easy to find. On returning there is a 3 wheeler park at the end of the road.
This guest house is clean and modern, situated within walking distance to the Waters Edge and Immigration.
Our room was on the down stairs overlooking a small courtyard and perfectly furnished.
The owners could not have been more helpful, explained about the local area and directed us to our destination. They gave us an early breakfast and took us, by car, to the Waters Edge (at no extra cost) Definitely going again!
