Jungle oasis next to Dambulla cave temple

Great location next to Dambulla cave temple.walking distance. Beautiful restaurant and bar happy hours from 5-7 pm , super cocktails ,super friendly staff

Terrible Experience – Not Worth the Price

We paid around LKR 75,000 for a family room on 5 August 2026, expecting a comfortable stay based on the advertised photos and 4-star listing.
Unfortunately, the room had many problems: the AC was not working, the sink was blocked, the shower was broken, the bathroom lock did not work, the charging socket had issues, and several fittings were old and rusty. There was also no fridge initially. We have photos and videos documenting these issues.
After we complained, the hotel offered us a complimentary meal the following day as compensation. We returned after visiting Sigiriya, but when we arrived, we were told that several menu items were not included.
During the meal, we then found a housefly inside our food. We have clear photos of this.
When we informed the Food & Beverage Manager, instead of apologising, he responded very rudely and told us to pack our food, pay for our drinks and leave. He also used offensive and disrespectful language toward us.
The actual room condition was also very different from what we expected based on the online photos.
For approximately LKR 75,000, we expected basic cleanliness, working facilities, hygienic food and respectful customer service.
Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. We recommend that travellers carefully check recent guest reviews and photos before booking.

Very bad and terrible experience

So bad, hotel in renovation - dirty and lot of noises. People do not listen to me if I need rest. They supplied wrong diner and they are very nervous about bad reviews. I had to sign a letter ….
Late check -in / door lock does nt work - etc etc
I booked 3 nights and Prepayment was required. When I would like to cancel 2 nights due to the noisy sounds till late in evening…still no response of my refund. Maybe today an answer?

Stay away from this place!

This place is terrible! I would stay away. Pictures are very deceiving and this is not even a 2 star hotel. When we checked in, we were expecting a room that was promised via our agency. The management said pictures not the same on their advertisements. Front desk manager, Sanju said that he will provide free dinner and lunch to make up for the room being terrible. Once we paid for the hotel and left, they charged the card without authorization and then asked to remove the negative review on booking.com so that they will reverse the charges. This hotel is a scam and stay away from this garbage.

Very accomodating place to stay!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly.
The biggest highlight was definitely the staff. Every single person we interacted with was so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, helped us with local recommendations, and made us feel so well looked after throughout our stay.
The restaurant was another standout. The traditional Sri Lankan food was absolutely incredible—some of the best we’ve had on our trip. Everything was fresh, full of flavour, and a great way to experience authentic local cuisine.
Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable.
We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sri Lanka.
