Forest paradise of the garden is really a paradise
The garden is very well maintained and is really a paradise.
There are complemetaries in the room.
One is accompanied to sleep by a frog concert.
The pool is ice cold and built more for children but if you come back sweaty on a hot day just the right thing.
The fan in the room had to be here for me also as a clothes dryer but is really great.
It was mphe with arranging the room given towel and blankets nice dekiriet.
In the city below you are in 5min and to the littel Adams Peack you also only run 40min to sunrise definitely the highligt

Did not live up to expectations
Fan was a single floor fan. It was not possible to get more despite the heat.
Full of small animals in the room.
Not possible to get extra sheets and pillows.
Had asked for a quiet Ranking. Got room at the activity area with pool table and sofa arrangement. There was noise until 2 p.m. The hotel was indifferent, despite repeated inquiries to both guests and the hotel.
Woke up at 6 a.m. of the 45 minute speaker fair (down from town).
One of the beds was like lying directly on the springs of the mattress.
View from the terrace just into trees.
The good:
Warm water with good water pressure.
Laundry service at ok Award.
Breakfast was varied and good.
No trouble as we would travel after only 1 night.
The area looked nice. We couldn't use it.

Great hotel in Ella with v nice rooms and swimming pool
It took us about 12 minutes to walk to the main Ella street.
Beautiful swimming pool.
Labin who manages the property is a top host. He does a wicked breakfast (best poached eggs in Sri Lanka!!) and has loads of useful local information - really nice guy!
This is highly recommended property, set in lovely grounds with fantastic hosts.

2 days stay in Ella
Room 202 was not clean and is situated in the back of the hotel. Room was not really a hotel standard.
We should stay for 4 days but cancelled after 2 days and travelled further.
Other rooms are maybe better.

Best Hotel in Ella
Nelly was lovely, the breakfast was fantastic, and everybody made us feel so welcome that we stayed for 5 days out of our initial 2 night booking.
It is very central and close to all bars and restaurants, as well as a short walk from main sites. The swimming pool is great and refreshing in the hot mornings and they have a pool table.
We even had the lights working throughout the nationwide power cuts!
10/10 recommend, such good value for money.
