Along with an outdoor pool, this smoke-free hotel has a restaurant and a bar/lounge. Free WiFi in public areas and free self parking are also provided. Additionally, a poolside bar, a snack bar/deli, and a coffee shop/cafe are onsite. Change of towels is available on request. RAVANA RANGE ELLA offers 14 accommodations with minibars and complimentary newspapers. Rooms open to patios. These individually decorated and furnished accommodations have separate dining areas and include dining tables. Beds feature premium bedding. Guests can surf the web using the complimentary wireless Internet access. Bathrooms include showers with rainfall showerheads, bidets, complimentary toiletries, and hair dryers. Business-friendly amenities include desks, computer monitors, and phones. Additionally, rooms include complimentary bottled water and coffee/tea makers. Outstanding views and friendly team
Everyone was friendly, but Thushara went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed every minute. His genuine enthusiasm for the hotel, the food and Ella was infectious, and he was always smiling and checking we were having a good time.
We would choose Ravana Range again if we return!

Great view/staff
The first being the staff. Everyone was very helpful, but Thushara stood out as an incredibly kind, enthusiastic and attentive person. Every time he saw us he stood up and had a massive smile on his face. We told him that we would be skipping breakfast to climb Ella’s rock at 6AM the following day, and he insisted he would prepare us tupperwares of fruit and sandwiches, including my vegetarian request. He even dropped it off at our room at 5:45AM. Really genuine person with a great sense of humour. Made the stay so special.
Another fantastic thing about the hotel is the beautiful panoramic views from the balconies and swimming pool area. Especially during sunrise and in the evening sipping a cocktail or eating our dinner.
My only suggestion of improvement would be to have fixed shampoo/shower gel dispensers, rather than refillable mini bottles which have been used by many guests prior. Or alternatively, fresh mini bottles (like most hotels) and remove the sign saying “do not take, as you will be charged”.
Overall good experience and I would definitely stay again.

The experience is elevated even further by the wonderful staff. From reception to the bar, the restaurant, and the porters, everyone is kind, helpful, and genuinely passionate about making your stay memorable.
The hotel is just a few steps from the main street, accessible through a discreet little passage that the team will happily show you. A truly magnificent place.
