Great place to stay, cheap and worthy!

I came to the dorms for one night.
Had grrat talk with the lady who runs the place, its clean and comfortable.
Very good hospitality! Recommended.
The price you pay worth the distance from city center and the tuktyk that will get you there.

Stayed one night found it amazing staff is very helpful and friendly special Lataa the sweet lady's common word Darling is sound nice. Beds are good breakfast was good too. I just forgot my mobile power bank and charging cable in hostel it was my own mistake but 1st mistake is not mistake it is learning

absolutely fantastic!!!

My toddler and I stayed 2 nights at Kandy Down Town Hostel ( the one at 101, Aniwatta Road). It was my very first backpacking experience with a toddler so was bit nervous but this place made us feel home and luckily we had a whole house to ourselves.Excellen Wi-fi. The caretaker and house boy were very nice and friendly. Continental breakfast was delicious. We highly recommend this place to backpackers travelling to Kandy.

Clean, budget, friendly backpackers stay

This hostel caretaker is very friendly and helpful. The kitchen is all yours in case you wish u to cook some special delicacies. A the bathrooms and bedrooms are cleaned time to time. The hostel rate compared to its tidiness is very affordable and cheap.
For backpackers, I highly recommend this hotel to experience the travellers journey.
I had the best time of my life in this hostel. I came as a solo traveller and met travellers from across the globe making friends back home.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY

I was very happy, reasonable price, big space, great wifi, laundry services, and delicious dinner at a great rate. Extra credit to both Kanthi, and Mapa for making the stay extra nice with their kindness, and helpfulness, plus that food I already mentioned
