Best place to stay in Kandy !

If you plan to visit Kandy there is no better place to stay than Kandy Fortress. Our time there was absolutely wonderful. The owner Kumari is such a sweet person and really cares about her guests. Her hospitality was truly outstanding and her food was absolutely delicious. She took great care of us and made us feel completely at home. We are already looking forward to our next stay there. Thank you so much for this unforgettable experience Kumari !!!!

Just absolutely Amazing!!!

Hello dear people, we have been travelling in Asia for about 8 months and have been able to see many different places since then. We were often lucky with our accommodations, but of course there were one or two black sheep among them.
Anyway, during our whole trip we have never seen such a nice and warm host as Kumari, the unbelievably warm owner of our accommodation.
The flat or the house is located 5-10 minutes from the city centre on a hill overlooking the beautiful surroundings. You can walk down the hill and then take the tuck tuck (best via Pick Me App) back up for between 250 Ikr and 300 Ikr ($0.80 - $0.95).
The view from our terrace was absolutely worth it but as soon as you enter the rooftop you know you have arrived in a completely different magical and wonderful world. You can use the whole building, so we enjoyed the sunrise and sunset on the rooftop. If you go up early in the morning for sunrise you can see the shining moon on one side (it was full moon) and directly behind it the rising sun and you can overlook the whole beautiful landscape - absolutely fantastic. The
accommodation was tip-top clean and even bigger and better than expected, Kumari treated us like family from the very beginning and we took her incredibly into our hearts. Of all the places/ accommodations we stayed in during our 8 month trip, this is already our absolute favourite. If you are in Kandy and don't visit this place you are definitely missing out.
