Unforgettable Corporate Outing! Exceptional Hospitality for 400 Guests
We recently hosted the Sri Lanka Thriposha Ltd Minor Staff Annual Picnic at The Long Beach Resort, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! From the moment we first reached out to Mrs. Yashoda, the team showed incredible professionalism and warmth.
A special thank you to Mr. Kavinda (Hotel Manager), Mr. Ranjeewa (Reservation Manager), and the entire Reservation Team for their seamless coordination and exceptionally warm welcome. Managing an event for 400 members is no small task, but they handled it effortlessly, ensuring every single guest left completely satisfied!
Highlights of our stay:
- Food & Dining: Delicious, high-quality meals that everyone enjoyed.
- Accommodation: Rooms were clean, comfortable, and up to standard.
- Events: A huge thank you to Mr. Prasad from the F&B team for coordinating a fantastic evening event at the restaurant area—it was a pleasure speaking with you!
- Front Desk & Accounts: Thank you to Ranjeewa and the sweet ladies at the front desk for assisting with smooth room arrangements, as well as the Accounts Team for making our checkout and bill settlement quick and hassle-free.
The Long Beach Resort is a wonderful place for large corporate events and leisure stays alike. Exceptional service, friendly staff who go above and beyond, and great hospitality throughout.

Fantastic Corporate Outing & Highly Family-Friendly!
Had an amazing experience hosting our company outing here! The service was outstanding, the food was delicious, and everything was perfectly organized. It is also a very family-friendly place and highly recommended for kids as well.

The Wonderful Hotel and Fraud Guide Misha
Holidaying with family at this hotel in late January 2026. Chic beach, delightful warm clear ocean, very beautiful view from the room. Waves every day, but you can swim (adults). You can also walk on the beach for 15 minutes to the lagoon without waves. For breakfast 5-6 kinds of very delicious fruit, eggs in any form, porridge, salads, pasta, delicious pastries and national dishes. Two big clean pools. The nearest supermarkets and fruit shops are within 15 minutes on foot, you can take Krazy Bas for Rs. 27 or tuk-tuk for Rs. 300 (up to 3 people). We rode tuk-tuk in Galle (lighthouse, fortress), Unawatunu (turtle beach), Ahangamu (surfing).
They were planning to take a field trip to Ella, but we were tricked. It really ruined the vacation, as the children really wanted to visit all the points included in this excursion: Adam's Small Peak, the nine-arch bridge, tea plantations, waterfall, monkeys, elephants, and ride the famous train. We booked a tour of Ella and paid $60 in advance five days before with local Lankan Misha, whose hut is on the beach by the hotel and on the first day of arrival he does not leave you one step until you buy a tour. We were supposed to be on a field trip at 4 a.m. On the eve of the departure, at 10 pm, Misha wrote that the tour was postponed, citing bad weather (which was excellent), etc. We informed that then we would not be able to go at all, because in a day we leave, asked to find a way out, to join us in another group. Misha texted me saying you'd be good to go, but at 8 a.m. On the day of the tour at 7:30, 30 minutes before the tour, he wrote that the tour would not take place because he did not get the right number of people. Later, we were told by two other Russians staying at the hotel that they also had an excursion scheduled for Ella the same day, they came to the reception at 4 a.m., waited an hour (Misha's calls were not answered), but no one arrived. That is, he didn't even warn them of a change of plans. Next, we tried to return the advance payment, but to no avail, only excuses that there was no money, wait for it to come. Of course, it's not about the money at all, it's just to warn you, it's still very hurtful, there's a fallout that Misha's crook prevented us from visiting Ella.
The hotel really enjoyed itself, we recommend it!
But be careful not to buy tours from Misha!
