Best location to chill out

This hotel good for the low budget person.it is very close to Singharajaya main entrance and front of hotel small river going.most of guests can chill out there.service is very friendly.food is very delicious.specially rice and curry so great.

Not good

I found the hotel very below average, the rooms were really bad, there was mold on the walls and everything smelled very strange.
The water from the shower was freezing cold and hardly any water came out because you had to shower water in this ice forever.

A pleasant surprise...

For 2 nights we had decided to accept reported basic facilities and a couple of poor reviews... but we were very pleasantly surprised by how clean the room was and how good the food was and how friendly the staff were.
After a long day of walking in the Sinharaja Forest, which was amazing, the long hike uphill back to the room after dinner was a struggle... but at 75 acceptable.
The view from the eating area was full of birds, barbets nesting very close and the food was very good if limited.
A great surprise and would certainly stay here again for the closeness to the forest.

A beautifully situated basic lodge with beautiful garden

We found the stay here very pleasant! The room is basic but has everything needed. It has a lovely garden with several places for bird watching. The buffet was a bit smaller, but everything was equally tasty and people who eat less spicy were taken into account.

Good place to stay for the wildlife.

The accommodation is quite basic. We knew it was going to be because of the proximity of the rainforest reserve gate. We were on a birdwatching guided tour, so needed to be close to the birds. Having been warned how basic, it was actually quite surprising. It had aircon, and was clean. The beds were very firm. The people were nice. The food was reasonable.
