Stunning

We spent our first 2 nights in Sri Lanka at Adique’s resort and loved it! Everything was as good as the photos show. The sea was wonderful for swimming and there were always enough sun beds even though some people insisted on puttIn their towels on them and leaving them there all day. Our only slight disappointment was the quality of the lunch we had, but the breakfast was very good.

Far too noisy for me

We did not enjoy this hotel because of frequent very loud noise from giant loudspeakers in the workshop next door, speakers being tested (ie played) for long periods in the day, Turns out this is a loudspeaker repairing workshop. Adiques manager did speak with them with varying results when I requested some peace on four or five occasions over 3 days but then seversl times asked me to be patient as they were just trying to make a living. Otherwise Adiques was fine although there was no good beach access, no sun umbrellas and little English spoken. However it was the noise that totally ruined it for me.

A little paradise right by the sea – perfect stay!”

We had a wonderful stay at Adique’s Resort and can recommend this place without restriction.
The whole team is exceptionally attentive and warm. The manager in particular is to be singled out – he read every wish from our eyes without having to say anything at all. You rarely experience such a service.
The complex and rooms are very clean and well maintained.
Breakfast was a highlight every morning: fresh fruit, delicious hoppers with egg, freshly made juices – all made with a lot of love.
The sea view is just fantastic, and the beach is clean, quiet and perfect for swimming.
A big thank you to the whole team for this unforgettable time. We will definitely come back and recommend the Adique’s Resort from the heart!

 Family Holiday at Adiques Resort Marawila 

This was our second time at Adiques Resort Marawila and our 6th family holiday together. Once again, it was a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay.
The service was warm and attentive, with staff always ready to help and make us feel welcome. From check-in to departure, we felt well taken care of. The team was friendly, and small gestures of hospitality made our stay even more memorable.
The food was delicious, with a good variety to suit both adults and children. We especially appreciated how the staff ensured our daughter was comfortable and happy during meals. Fresh, tasty dishes and attentive service made dining a real highlight of our stay.
Overall, Adiques Resort once again gave us a wonderful family holiday with great hospitality, tasty food, and a peaceful atmosphere. Thank you to the entire team for making our trip special—we look forward to returning again. ✨

No beer but nice room

A lovely new build hotel with a great big bed, clean lovely bedding and a lovely shower. The pool is small but nice. The staff were friendly but not around. I think because it’s low season things were quiet. We were expecting a pool bar, food and a staff presence. But we were told to go up the road for food and beer, which was a shame as after 4 weeks travelling independently around Sri Lanka we hadn’t experienced this. The price was high compared to anything else we’d paid and we got less. The room wasn’t cleaned because apparently you have to ask. Yet breakfast was provided without us asking so we assumed it was included. Upon check out I was hit with two huge breakfast bills, which I refused to pay.
Over the road there is a lovely supermarket to buy your room provisions, a wine shop a short tuktuk journey away and three beautiful seafood restaurants just a short walk away. We had a nice two days by the pool at the end of our holiday.
Be careful they don’t rip you off but the room was good x
