Good clean room

Good and clean room for reasonable money. Very friendly host couple who are happy to help plan activities. There are both rooms with and without air conditioning. Breakfast is served on site, but opposite is the café barista kaffe - it's really good

Never Go Again Due to Rude behaviour of Mr.Dinu(Host), Mosquito and Dog.

The behavior of Mr. Dinu, the caretaker of the property, was extremely rude and unacceptable for someone dealing with guests. I had placed an order for dinner through him, and he charged one and a half times the actual price. Not only that, when I protested, he spoke to me in a loud and disrespectful manner. However, his parents are quite polite. The location is not accessible by car, and there is a significant problem with stray dogs and mosquitoes. The bathroom was not clean, and water tends to accumulate there.

Worst experience

The rooms were disgusting, there was mold on the ceilings, there were weird disgusting stains on the bed. There were flies in the common fridge. This was more disgusting than anything I could have imagined. I was quite surprised how rude the hosts were as well. We asked for AC, which is an extra charge btw, he took the money and didn't turn on the AC until much later, so the room got super humid which only made that disgusting room more unbearable. We could only stay there the night because it was too late to pick a new place.

Great curry!

Very friendly and helpful family. They made us an excellent vegetarian curry as well and helped us organise a jeep safari in kaudulla national park to see the elephants. Convenience store just next door as well as several restaurants and very close to lion rock

Excellent homestay

Caring and sweet family. Comfortable beds and good wifi. Great location with a lovely garden. Brilliant and big breakfast with omelettes, toasts, fruit and coffee. Bikes to rent. No complaints att all.
