Highly Recommend and Affordable Rates

This is the superb place in Nuwaraeliya. ❄️ Specially for FAMILIES ‍‍‍‍‍ We had comfortable stay on Januka’s place. Nice view and calm atmosphere. Highly recommend for family stay. Affordable rates. Make sure to skip raining days ☂️ and don't forget to put your creativeity on Janu's attactive art wall...... Thank You

If you need to take worst experience, visit this hotel as a local visitor...

I pay advance for booking 2 family rooms before one month ago. But owner did not reserve my rooms and don't inform it to me. We went at 04.05.2023 afternoon and ready to stay but he tell us to cannot give rooms and tell all rooms are fulfil. we faced many troubles and find another hotel rooms very hard. This hotel owner is very careless man. He only care for foreigners. Local visitors he not care. This is the vey unpleasant experience in our travelling life. He advertise low prices in local pages and take advanced and sell overprice to other emergency visitors. The worst thing is that he not agree to refund our advanced but we take advance by force. Please be carefully to book or pay advance for this hotel.

Best Location, staff and facilities.

There is no doubt one of the favorite place I stayed during my time in Sri Lanka! Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed by the general manager Januka. The staff was extremely friendly, I have an authentic experience of the culture. (appreciate this!)They deserves a special thanks. I had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience. 
The second day I did a village trekking visiting the waterfalls. I truly enjoyed walking through the village. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment.
The atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect for the general manager who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality! Definitely be back again here.

Perfect location

Very good location very close to Nanu Oya station and is a great spot to explore Nuwara Eliya and surrounds. The view from the property is stunning and it’s so lovely sitting on the rooftop watching the sunset. Januka and his family are so warm and welcoming and will help assist you with anything you need! Januka’s mother also makes the best curry! Lovely place, would definitely stay again :)

Nice hosts, chilled place, amazon food, best experience!

This guesthouse is five minutes away from the train station by Tuk Tuk. Januka, the owner, was standing outside of the guesthouse to welcome us. It is a beautiful and chilled place and the view is amazing.He showed us the whole guesthouse and some nice places around. We have been out for a Walk in the tea plantation and he brought us to a waterfall and to Nuwara Elyia. We got to know the whole family!!! All of them were so kind and wonderfull hosts. The mum of Januka cooked for us super delicious food. I got a Sari of her and she taught us the kandyian dance. Januka was the whole time available for us. Instead of one night we stayed for a couple more days. I really enjoyed staying in Nanu Oya and would recommend staying here instead of Nuwara Elyia. Thank you so much for the wonderfull experience,Januka!!!
