Awesome Place for travailing

I had a great time with this hotel. Different hotel experience with this hotel. The rooms and pool are very clean.Everything was very good. The staff is friendly and gives us the best service. I recommend for everyone.

A perfect place to spend weekend in Udawalawe

We have planned to visit Udawalawe during the post covid situation, and by the time there were only hotels and restaurants functioning in the area. Therefore, I have contacted the place before I reserve it online and I got a positive answer which encouraged to book the place for the weekend.
Place was located in the vicinity of the Udawalawe dam at the Colombo-Katharagama main road, so it was very easy to find.
Hotel owners were there in that weekend, and were genuinely attentive on our every need during our stay (9/10).
Room was spacious, clean and comfortable (8/10).
Place has a nice pool and we have spent entire afternoon relaxing in the poolside (4/5). And had a really nice evening walk to the Udawalawe dam and saw wild elephants roaming in the reservoir area.
Next day morning (6 AM) we went to a safari into the Udawalawe national park, and the Jeep was arranged by the hotel as a part of our package. Jeep driver was also super friendly and we have spent nearly 3 hours in the park.
As an overall, we have really enjoyed this trip even though it was a sudden plan. And would like to recommend this place for others who seeks for accommodations for their adventures in Udawalawe area.

The staff was fantastic

The hotel is were simple, a lot of things like zink, av, tb didnt work but the staff fixed. The staff were wonderful and so helpful. Thats why the hotel get 4 instead of 3. The safari driver that worked for the hotel was the best! The food at the hotel was expensive, but there is a hotel with buffe beside were we eat

Good base

We stayed for 2 nights to visit the national park. It's a small boutique type hotel with pool. Clean and good facilities. Our A/C wasnt working but changed our room to accommodate us. Friendly staff. We ate out so cant really comment on food but it is in American $ which seems absurd.
It is well located for transit camp and safari being about 4k from national park.
You can organise your visits from here but we had a driver so did it independently. At time of writing its 4000/- for jeep and 7850/- for entrance to national park. This was for couple. No need for guide.

Perfect Stay!

Everything was perfect. The Stuff, the room, the organizatioon. A dream came true. During the Safari we saw a lot of different animals and our guide showed us a lot hidden animals and also explained a bit to everyone.
