Wonderful to watch the many turtles

The beach is narrow & there are sunbeds. There were a lot of people there therefore coming early in the morning & leaving at noon. The observation of the big turtles was wonderful & they are very happy to be fed.

Beautiful views beautiful family

Two sisters run this business with their extended family. On arrival they greeted us with a king coconut and big smiles. They could not have been more hospitable! We were genuinely upset when we left to go to our next location because they had truly just been so warm. The views are divine, the food homemade, traditional, beautiful Sri Lankan fare, and the rooms were at or above standard compared to rooms I had for my two weeks in Sri Lanka.
You can get in the water from the hotel or about 200m down the road where guys actively encourage turtle activity by feeding them sea grass.

Don’t Pay to See Turtles at Turtle Beach: Visit Nearby Hotels to Access Turtle Beach

This is just a location.
Turtles come to Turtle Beach because they are fed here. They charge around 1,500 LKR just to see the turtles, but they really shouldn’t. I recommend visiting other hotels nearby and accessing the beach for free—this way you can still see the turtles without paying to enter this area.

Fantastic location so close to the beach. Amazing food and great room. The highlight though was the friendly and professional service. Lovely welcoming lockal people
