Fresh accommodation suitable for many travellers travelling together as well as solo travellers

We stayed two nights at Ekbacken in the part that is newly renovated and is a few minutes walk from the reception and restaurant. Simple clean fresh rooms with shower and toilet. Outside there was a small courtyard with furniture where you can gather and have your own drinks.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Good breakfast buffet and good dinner in the evening
Bar open in the evening.

Quite ok but too expensive

Scenic and nice surroundings. Has been a folk high school before.
The rooms are spread out in different houses on the area and even outside. The room we got was located a bit away, behind the Villa in a row with nice views of the lake.
Pretty small room but quite ok with well functioning shower o toilet.
A little too expensive, 1695kr/night in little Markaryd. Breakfast and supper are included but the price is still too high.

Long Weekend

Wonderful stay.Family atmosphere.Everyone is so nice service oriented goal wheat.The rooms are great as well as all the food.Close to everything wonderful nature.Wonderful lakes and swimming bays nearby.Have been here a 10 times all seasons are just as good.

Good mini vacation on Ekebacken, can be recommended

Visited Ekebacken ult August 2024. A lovely location nice area quiet and quiet, nice located by lake with good hiking opportunities. Our room was good, good beds, that was what was supposed to be. Breakfast buffet in the restaurant was fine, there was no shortage of anything. Dinner was buffet with single dish, it was tasty could just take several times. Nice restaurant, friendly staff, the place can be recommended.

Great! Staying at this hotel annually when visiting Markaryd's antique and collectible fair .This year's surprise was that at check-in the very nice and charming young lady (who had answers to all my questions) asked if I wanted to eat now directly (?) I had no idea that it included a lovely dinner when I booked. .Pork fillet ball potatoes and a good sauce several salads to choose from.My only regret is that I should have taken that beer with the food but it will be next time .So top Rating from reception to kitchen .Mention should also be that the rooms are always well cleaned and in order thumbs up on it
