Idyllic

Fourth time at this hotel, and we'll probably be back. The surroundings are just absolutely lovely. The bath many times frq the beach that is located right below the hotel. Stayed in room 6 in Strandgården; spacious, delicate and clean. The bathroom is very tight!. Ok for me, but my husband didn't like sitting on the toilet :-(. Otherwise: breakfast is ok, nice with free parking. Staff is welcoming and kind. Easy to get in touch.

Disappointment

Disappointment.Such a location at this hotel that has great potential to be something much better.Very lousy. Needs total renovation. We booked the evening buffet and looked forward to this but it was a joke, it was really not worth 295kr. Breakfast simple but ok. The young girls who worked there were very nice.

Do NOT go here!

Would not call this a hotel, rather a worn, slightly shabby hostel. Got room facing a backyard, view straight into a bush. No cozy room. An elderly lady who received us and and even stood at the reception was unfortunately very grumpy and unpleasant and not service minded AT ALL, but rather felt like she was bothered by her customers. However, the young girls who worked there were super nice. The food was not very good, small portions and tasteless. The coffee we longed for was a dry cake. The only thing, this so-called hotel, lives on is the location. But there are endless other good, real, hotels that have the same location, so don't go here!!!

Poor standard.

Wonderful location but renovation needs the whole hotel. The beds were far too short, not standard measurements, so the person at 1.88 was very uncomfortable. Bathroom door could not be opened completely, took to the floor. Breakfast with a nice view but the food was not refilled when it ran out, although we arrived in the middle of breakfast time. Didn't seem to be enough staff. Simple standard can be quite ok but then lower the price until you get the place in order.

Lack of service

Location is the only thing that weighs up. The service is non-existent and when this was pointed out we were instead scolded by the staff. Stayed here in connection with a wedding and chose to stay even Sunday to Monday. During Sunday afternoon we discovered that the reception house was locked and after knocking and searching we found a maid who announced that the hotel is closed on Sundays. No info about this at all, no info about anything actually. Despite this, they charge in full even on Sundays. Do not recommend!
