Redo do right

In a fantastic setting on a hill in Sigtuna with beautiful houses, it would be possible to create a unique accommodation. But poorly cleaned rooms. Mold smell in the bathroom, and a poorly cleaned toilet makes it “inverted alchemy” (you have gold but it gets sh**t).

Simplicity

Simple and easy handling of keys. Very simple and cheap accommodation, you get what you pay for. All the lights didn't work but we experienced the room big and that it was clean. Will probably not stay here again even if it is close to Arlanda and nice surroundings. It is close to the lake and a small walk into the community with the nice but expensive supply.

Simple hostel

My partner and I were staying in Sigtuna for one night just to explore the town, so we booked this hostel since it was quite cheap.
We were a bit confused in the beginning on how to check in and to get our room, then we realized the email we got that explained that there was no staff and you had to get your keys by yourself. The room is simple but adequate. Two separate beds, free wifi (which wasn't that good) and access to a common room with a fully stocked kitchen.
One aspect that we did not take into account is that the hostel is roughly 20 mins walk away from the city centre We played cards in the common room and played billiards at the entrance in the evening, which was fun, but the hostel was basically empty (I guess due to corona).
I would not stay here longer than a couple of days - but how much exploring of Sigtuna can you really do in more than two days? Not too much.
All in all, a simple hostel that lives up to expectations. Nothing more, nothing less.

Rustic school hostel

If you like the eco friendly life this is for you. Its part of a school area like a hostel outside Sigtuna on a hill. You can explore the little town and the lake in summer. You may hike in summer and swim in the lake, the third largest in Sweden.
The rooms are simple and breakfast is included. Its a place of calm and quiet rectitude with the opportunity to mingle with the students.

Ok for short stay, but don't expect too much

The hostel is a short walk from the town, but very close to the lake. The room was ok and had a decent size for one person. The mattress was too soft and I woke up the first morning with back pain; I put the matttress on the floor the 2nd night and sleptmuch better... Minimal breakfast. The price was ok but did not include the cleaning which you have to pay extra for or clean by yourself which makes it less interesting for a short stay.
