Wonderful Stay

All in all it was an excellent experience. The rooms and hotel commen areas were clean, the staff was extremely helpful and for what we got, it was a great value. The location was ideal, in that it was close to local buses and trains. And we loved the atmosphere of the common areas.

Clean hotel with a nice breakfast. Located at a convenient spot close to the old town and ferry terminal.

Good hotel.

Nice hotel with a room with good space for family of 4 including 2 teenagers. Close to the center, food and shopping.
No disturbing noise. Regular hotel breakfast with good choice. Very satisfied

A week before arrival my partner and I were thinking of renting a car so I wrote to the hotel to know if there was parking available or not. Never got an answer so I didn’t rent a car. There is no parking available btw.
During check-in, we figured out we had booked a room without windows on floor -2. We asked for an upgrade and they got us a room on first floor with window for an extra charge of 90€ for 3 nights.
We go into the room, which looked great at first. I try to open the window, the handle was broken so the upgrade was all for nothing because we couldn’t open the window.
We opened the safe to drop our stuff and we saw it was covered in mold, disgusting.
The bathroom smelled like pee all the time and the wc sitter was broken.
AC didn’t work, they had left a fan in our room.
Bed was ok, i don’t understand having a double mattress but separate quilt. Something in the bed made me have a reaction, my legs were itchy every night when I laid down which made sleeping and resting impossible for me
Upon check-in they told us cleaning would be available only once during our stay and we had to choose a day. We chose the day and the cleaning never happened during our stay.
There’s no tea or coffee in the room, or a mini fridge.

Good hotel in an excellent area.

Good hotel in an excellent area. Mine was a late booking over a popular weekend so I had to settle for a cabin room (limited space and no window), but I knew this beforehand so no complaints. I would stay again. Since refurbishment there is no nightclub or live music, just a DJ over the weekend but no noise issues. If anything it was too quiet, the bar closes at 10pm on Sundays!
