Favorite hotel in the mountains

Super nice staff and Service. Great room with a lovely view. Very good food. Very good selection of everything. An amazing experience. See you later:)

Wilderness experience in the mountains at its best!

A magical experience. You can't get more genuine mountain experiences. If you want to experience wilderness, real people in an environment that breathes tradition, then you should travel here. A bit like stepping back in time like Sweden used to be.
The care, the treatment was extraordinary among the staff.
The receptionist was friendly professional and knowledgeable! An extra gold star for him.
But we must not forget the food! Enough that everything tastes good after a day on the mountain, but that is far from the whole explanation. Super good simply.
I want to travel here again.

Not my first choice

Long wait time (three hours) before the room was ready so we could put away our luggage. The room was clean and ok, no more than that. No double bed, no TV. Breakfast was ok, slightly tasteless oatmeal that was more white than yellow. Lunch was ok. The dinner was also ok. 3 recipes that took too long.

Red Riding Hood lifts Storlien another couple of notches!

The wonderful Storlien has tap danced another couple of notches with Hans and Heléne at the helm of Red Riding Hood on the slopes. A wonderful couple who run and care for their guests. Full of warmth and anecdotes from brewing and skiing culture makes you just want to sit here all day and cuddle. Culture beer and real burgers do their bit every day of the week. Congratulations to all of you who are visiting Hans and Heléne.

Nice experience

Old high mountain hotel. Many rooms, long corridors, a little "shinig" atmosphere over it. We got good price, good service, good food. Nice sauna and pool. Good breakfast and dinner dishes were good. The bed was good. Otherwise the bathroom and much around is old as expected, but I think it has its charm. Are you looking for a super modern hotel is not this the right choice for you.
