Very good food
Good menu, and food tastes good. A little poor staffing at checkouts, so it takes time when there are lots of orders of hot chocolate.
The pizzas can be recommended and especially the one named Jillie.

Good but improvement opportunities
Mixed feelings around the place. The hotel is quite OK, but some clear breezes. I notice that the attitude of the staff is quite good; more on that later.
About the area:
Several ski slopes and many different difficulty levels; however, I think it does not follow the colors I am used to.Got a green today with the kids and felt that it was closer to a blue or sometimes a red slope. Then the end from 51 towards the barnbacken is very hard to find, and hardly green.
Otherwise a nice nature and many possibilities. The lifts are in good condition and not long queues even though it is winter break.
Hotel facilities:
We live in a premium room – but apparently a custom room. Skis and poles are stored in an outdoor locker, and all but six rooms have changing rooms adjacent to the passage under the house. We belong to the six rooms that must instead be up to floor 5, where small lockers are outside the elevator. No bench to sit on, and the cupboards are only 30 cm from the stairs – not a good place to put on boots. For a premium room it feels anything but premium. Even the rooms where the other cabinets are, it's a little dated and old.
Room quality:
The rooms look very nice. Fresh and comfortable furniture, good wifi. Not cold or so and both the door and windows insulate well against both sound and light. Good with lighting and also good with electrical outlets; especially at the legends. The TV's Netflix feature does not work, so bring an AppleTV or something if you want to watch movies. Shower has good strength and function. The sauna is located on the 2nd floor and is well used, open from 2pm to 8pm.
Parking:
When other Skilodges have designated locations for their lodge guests, this is not the case. Here you have to look for a place, which may be a bit away. There are some charging points, but they are quickly taken and cars will be there for a long time. Charging is up to 7kW, but you get lower than that. The cost is 5kr/kWh. If you arrive with ~45% (from Sveg where the last supercharger is) then you will need to charge in 24-48h.
Prices:
A soda costs 65kr. The pastries are good and tasty and cost between 45-65kr I have for me. A 6-pack of Coke at Coop in Funäsdal costs 39kr + deposit I have for me. The restaurant costs at least 259 SEK for taco buffet on Wednesdays, which you need to book in advance.
About the quantity:
From arriving and missing info in SMS, to ordering a drink in the bar; let me clarify:
Upon arrival we received a text message about late check-in, but several instructions made us miss the correct information for “Skilodge” and read it for cabins instead. When I called the reception I got a little comment: "Yes, if you read the text message, you will see that for your accommodation you should not pick it up from the cottage but at the lodge". I dismissed it as the person had a bad day, but similar treatment recurred.
Today we were going to order a drink in the bar and my wife asks what cider they have, "Yes you can check there in the fridge, there everyone is", when she did not really see the difference between two bottles, she asked which ones it is and she then explains that they have both pears and apples. I pointed out that she knew what they had, to which she replies "Yes, but I can't be bothered to talk up all the time who we have"; not very high ambition or service-oriented.
Later in the evening we sat in the lounge around 21:45. No one at the bar, no other guests. I picked up two drinks of my own, but five minutes later we were told it was not allowed – even though the bar was empty. I pointed out that we had gladly ordered, but there was no one in the children and everything looked closed. The apology? “Sorry, I cleaned.” Then they closed at 10:00 anyway. Now understand why both the bar and the lodge are so deserted, despite winter holidays.
That said, the reception has been very good, although I have not had to meet them so much. However, the lounge and restaurant are cleaned and they pick away; it is well maintained.
All about everything:
We are a week here and this I write after a day on site. I hope that the rest of the week will be better and that the good reception was only someone or some who had a bad day. There is a lot of potential even if the cost is a little higher. If it's better I'll update my post. The staff’s responses can probably make the biggest difference, I think.

Good ski resort but average/low standard of accommodation
We stayed here for a week. Second visit.
The accommodation accommodates six beds and the furniture is very worn and of a low standard. One armchair's seat cushion was completely torn and the bedrooms have no doors, only skylights. Strange solution in a hotel. Good view of the hill with a large balcony. The kitchen is well equipped.
The hotel lobby is dreary and dark. There is a fireplace and candles on the tables, but nothing has been lit in the evening, sad! The pizzas in the restaurant are good! But they charge SEK 25 for 1 small pizza salad, also sad.
The staff in the ski rental are knowledgeable and helpful! Even the staff in the lift system greets and helps with the lift, very nice!
Ski logde has a "working room" that costs SEK 150 to use (incl. coffee and bun). The problem is that you are not sitting apart, but in the middle of other guests who are, for example, going to the gym or staying in the hotel's games room. Not so nice to charge for a work room where you can't sit undisturbed and take meetings. Then it doesn't matter that coffee and a bun are included. I think that the staff at the reception could be more accommodating about it and not charge for the guests to use those workspaces. The staff wins from it in the long run and it makes you as a guest feel more taken care of.
In summary, Ski logde is a perfectly OK place to spend a week in the mountains. However, it is overpriced considering the standard of the accommodation and the facilities in the hotel. All rooms need to be renovated and, above all, doors to the bedrooms need to be installed. The staff could get more involved in the public areas by lighting candles, lighting fires and freshening up in the lounge.

Bad food experience
Got good service from a very nice guy. But the food was cold when it arrived. Hard French fries, the meat lacked a good roast surface, gray and greasy. But the waiter did his best to save the situation. But unfortunately we will choose something else next time as we were not really satisfied last time either.

Simple hotel
The hotel is very average. The apartments are nice with kitchen, big TV and clean shower. Our apartment had a view towards the slopes, very nice. The relax room consists of sauna, som chairs to chill in and changing room. The breakfast was very average with no hot food, orange juice from concentrate, bread with cheese and ham, cereal and porridge. Thats it.
Would stay here again but not if the price isn’t right.
