Quiet and peaceful. Wakeup csll from the resident rooster. Vrry comfortable transformation from milking barn to B&B. Would be grrat place for kids

Our booking was forgotten and we received no apology

We booked to stay here not for the location but because we were keen to experience Swedish farm life. Luckily we chose to check-in early afternoon as we were passing the farm, however on our arrival there was no one at home. We then called the owner who informed us she was away for the weekend and wasn't expecting us, we must have the wrong farm. I double checked my previous email exchange with her- including the address and dates agreed - and called her back to inform her of this. She reminded me that she was away and the B&B was closed so I asked her what we were to do for accomodation, especially since it was midsummer weekend. She said we could stay in one of the rooms, eat what we could find in the fridge for breakfast and leave the money on the side when we leave. We considered this for a while but we felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome in the house, this wasn't what we expected from a farm B&B, and we certainly weren't happy about paying 950SEK a night only to help ourselves to leftovers in the fridge for breakfast. We subsequently managed to find accommodation in the Scandic in Linkoping city centre, but were greatly disappointed as this was far from the type of holiday we had planned. Despite emailing the owner to confirm our decision, one week later we have not heard back from her and have received no apology. I would have expected a more polite and friendly approach from a B&B owner. This was a great disappointment.

For the animal-lovers!

We visited the cows, tried to pet the bunnies (they were a bit scared), fed the bunnies dandelions, fed the horses grass, fed the cows hay, petted the horses. Eight-yearold was so happy :)
Nice rooms, the children slept by the roof. Nice breakfast- organic as far as possible. Very quiet, we slept well. We were not waken by the rooster- the rooms were fairly soundproof.
Some flies found their way in, fly swatters were provided so we got the two- make sure not to let them in :)
Very friendly staff.

Cosy stopover in the countryside

Stayed for one night on our way to the south of Sweden. Quiet and cosy despite apparently being quite a large, working farm. We arrived late and they just left the door open for us.
Wonderful breakfast where the owners sat and ate with the guests with the highlight being their own, locally produced jams and smoked and salted meats.
Recommended!
