Beautiful guesthouse in a great location.

We stayed at the family-run guesthouse over Pentecost and were thrilled. The two booked rooms (Mainau + Mindelsee) fully met our expectations. From the reception (1st generation) to the abundant breakfast (2nd generation) to the farewell (3rd generation), you can feel how much passion has gone into building and running this house over the generations. Very good service and excellent food.

Warmth you can feel – a temporary home in Constance

The Gasthaus – Hotel Rose combines a central location with the soothing tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of Constance.
As soon as you arrive, you can feel the special atmosphere of a three-generation hotel: genuine warmth, openness and the love for the guest, which is not played but lived.
Our room was spotlessly clean, the beds incredibly comfortable – we slept wonderfully. Breakfast was a highlight: fresh, varied and served with lots of love, so you can start the day stronger and happy. Those who value personal hospitality will find much more than just accommodation – you will find a piece of home.

A lovely hotel on the outskirts of Konstanz.

A lovely hotel on the outskirts of Konstanz. My room was very clean and had a good shower. The wifi is fast and easy to connect to. There is parking, but I could imagine if the hotel is full it might be a bit tight. Many places to eat in the village - the restaurant by the lake is especially good.

Our stay at this hotel was a single disappointment – and that wasn’t because of the equipment or location, but because of the staff. Rarely have we experienced so much unkindness, ignorance and audacity at once. If you don't want to take a headache and bad mood home after your holiday, you should avoid this hotel urgently. Hospitality? An absolute foreign word here!

Love it or leave it! So ist es ja fast überall. Leider weiß ich nicht welche Laus Ihnen über die Leber gelaufen ist und kann mich dank Ihres anonymisierten Benutzernamen an keinen "Vorfall" erinnern. Im Allgemeinen Unstimmigkeiten gibt es: Bei der Anreisezeit und Check out. Diese sei hier noch einmal vermerkt: check in ab 14.00 Uhr! Ab dann heißen wir die Gäste willkommen. Man sollte doch nachvollziehen können, dass um 11.00 Uhr das Zimmer noch nicht bereit und gereinigt ist, hierbei ist es unerheblich ob die Gäste um 12.00 Uhr bei einer Familienfeier sein müssen oder aus welchem Grund auch immer, selbst wenn angekündigt wurde wir kommen früher, sorry wir müssen die Chance habe das Zimmer ordentlich zu reinigen und darum kann eine Anreise vor der Zeit nicht erfolgen... Oder, Ein weiteres Problem ist die Abreise, selbst wenn das Familienfest eine super Sause war, bitten wir die Gäste das Zimmer bis 11.00 Uhr (für die Reinigung) freizugeben. Wenn Probleme, dann immer mit unseren "vorgegebenen" Zeiten... sorry nicht aus Bosheit nur aus organisatorischen Gründen. Vielleicht geben Sie uns noch eine Chance. Sonst hat ja wohl alles gepasst. Modern rooms near the lake, great jam for breakfast :)

The bed and breakfast guest house is about 300 meters from the lake. You can park right in the courtyard. It is an older house, but the rooms have been renovated. Comfortable, soft mattresses, a modern armchair, modern furniture and a large balcony. Everything is clean and has nice pictures and beautiful wallpaper. Nice hosts, friendly cleaning staff and a great breakfast. In addition to rolls, bread, cold cuts, yogurt, muesli, eggs, antipasti, fruit and cheese, there were also very tasty and special jams: grape jelly, orange-carrot-mango jam (really special) and also very tasty strawberry jam. I think it's nice when the hosts also offer small and fine specialties at breakfast. You can tell that someone has put some thought into it. I can highly recommend the guest house and also the town of Allensbach! I really liked it!
