A Fantastic Welcome and A Great Stay!

Stayed here during the first week of Feb 2025. There was a fantastic welcome from the very beginning. Henrich and the team are great hosts. Breakfast is in a stunning room overlooking the mountains as the sun rises above them. Dinner is in a nice and cosy restaurant where hotel guests and dinner guests meet and mingle. The hotel is in Pratschli, right next to the slopes and lifts and very close to a ski rental shop. The bus runs frequently up to and down to Arosa. The food in the hotel is great with a different menu each evening. The rooms are cosy and comfortable.

Nice stay

As a family, we spent a week skiing in this homely hotel. We felt completely comfortable and well looked after. Thank you very much for the hospitality and very friendly and delicious food. The rooms were always very clean and practically furnished. Everything was provided for our toddler (1 year old) too.

Simply wonderful - cozy, family-friendly, extremely friendly service!

Such a cozy hotel and so different from all these anonymous chain giant hotels on this planet! A beautiful wooden house in chalet style with wonderful antiques (furniture), a creaky wooden staircase and delicious food (super tasty porcini mushroom cheese fondue and Pizokel).
We had a wonderful room with a balcony, comfortable lounge chairs and a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains. It couldn't have been nicer.
A house with individuality and charisma and very friendly staff. Added to that is the fantastic location: right next to the wonderful hiking trails (especially the great squirrel trail: squirrels, nutcrackers, great tits and nuthatches can be admired up close) or in winter right next to the Prätschli ski lift and the slopes. Bus stop also 20 meters from the house.
We were simply thrilled. We'll be back! Next time to enjoy the winter sun.

A great respite

You could not choose a more welcoming vacation home in the middle of a pandemic.
The hotel is warm and cozy.
The food and ambiance in the best tradition of Swiss hospitality.
The host is full of surprises and always fun to talk to about the issues of the mountains.
Don’t miss the fondu and the Swiss wines .
A great cellar.

Return to Arosa

Had a five year break from Arosa, great to return and to such a charming hotel with a warm welcome friendly staff and great food. Very handy for Pratschli bus stop and straight out onto the slopes. Great pace of life nothing rushed and if you like quieter end of town you'll love the Arlenwald. Heinrich is a fantastic host and Chef, the hotel is small has ten rooms all comfortable quaint. Can't wait to return.
