Pia was our Angel in Switzerland

Very nice rooms, comfy pillows, and nice breakfast. We arrived late after a rental car breakdown. We were frazzled. Although bar was closed, Pia, the inn keeper, could see our distress and offered to honor a drink request! Much needed. She helped us with our discussions with rental car company, and offered alternative solutions, saving us $$$$$ . She was our angel in Switzerland. I highly recommend her, and this hotel for your stay, as it is minutes away from the markets and stores.

Personal touch

Our experience at this small hotel was wonderful. The rooms have everything you could need. The beds and bedding are very comfortable. Pia greeted us with lots of smiles and her personal touch made our stay so the best. The location is not far from the train. The selection and quality of the breakfast were good.

Nice economic hotel.

Nice clean economic hotel. Only one staff on duty when we arrived on Saturday evening. She did the check in and later cook our dinner in the restaurant. very nice hospitality. French Fries are one of the best I had. Very clean facilities. The only dermit would be the unstable internet connection.

Just a simple nice hotel.

The location is near the city centre. There are no parking lots but you can find parking space nearby easily. The hotel is a little old fashioned but that's okay with me. Everything is clean and everything works fine. The breakfast was good enough.
A perfect place to stay for one night.

Could be way better

I alredy stayed here a few years ago and everything was really horrible. I thought I'll never come again but because all other hotels in Biel were full, I gave it another try.
Hotel was renovated. Room are way better. Still "old" but "fine" given the price.
But the windows are still the same. So If you are on the "quite" side (park), you're good. But on the "street" side.... It's like sleeping on a bench outside.Really.. There is a no rubber join on the windows. (too old)
It's really noisy.
I'm a frequent business traveler and it's the first time in my life I feel the need to write a review to warn other travelers.
So ask for a room on the "park" side ... or don't come here.
