Hotel Campione u Bissoneu, na obali jezera Lugano, nudi vam bazen uz jezero s panoramskom terasom i besplatni Wi-Fi u cijelom hotelu. Ispred restorana nalazi se panoramska terasa s pogledom na planine San Salvatore i Brè, jezero i Luganski zaljev.

The view is fantastic, as is the surrounding landscape. The breakfast and lunch/dinner are not the best, but they are okay. The furnishings are showing their age, but it is clean. However, the staff is very friendly!

Departed early
Several wasp nests discovered by the pool. The hotel did nothing for 5 days.
Wire in the spaghetti, almost swallowed it! Ate at the hotel 2 times, both times my daughter and I had stomachaches.
Bird poop on the set table. No compensation, only excuses from the hotel manager, even that my daughter was accused of having eaten fries at the pool, possibly the cause of the stomachache.

Avoid
We booked 4 nights and paid almost €2,000, so we expected a much higher standard.
The only real positive is the beautiful lake view. The staff were friendly and the rooms were reasonably clean, but unfortunately that's where the positives end.
The hotel itself feels very tired and in desperate need of renovation. I would rate it as 1.5 to 2 stars at best, not the standard I expected. The pool area is particularly disappointing, with old, worn concrete slabs, weeds growing between the paving, loose tiles and an overall neglected appearance.
The parking is very tight, and despite the limited space, you still have to pay for it.
Breakfast was one of the biggest disappointments. The selection was extremely limited, and several items regularly ran out and were not replenished promptly. Overall, the quality and variety were far below what you would expect for a hotel in this price range.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Apart from the stunning view and friendly staff, the hotel did not justify the price we paid, and I would not recommend staying here.

We would like to take this opportunity to set the record straight on a few points.
You booked a family room for 2 adults and 2 kids for four days and the total price of the room was CHF 1’364.—for the 4 nights together, including breakfast. You booked it via Booking.com, where you had to pay extra for breakfast for the 4 persons and 4 nights. If you had reserved directly on our website, you would have received the complimentary breakfast included in the best available rate, so you would have spent less.
As regards the ‘hotel tired and in desperate need of renovation, we cannot, of course, know what you are used to, but we can tell you the following: the building was constructed in 1965 and has been renovated several times since then. Since 2020, several million Swiss francs have been invested in a comprehensive full renovation of the entire hotel, and we are still investing in it.
Our garage was also originally built in the same period, when cars were generally considerably smaller than today. Consequently, some of our parking spaces are narrower than those found in more recently constructed facilities, and we understand that maneuvering can be less comfortable with larger modern vehicles.
Whenever possible, our reception team is happy to assist guests and indicate the most suitable available parking space.
Our continental breakfast buffet includes cold cuts, salmon, cheese, butter, plain and fruit yoghurt, sliced cheese, dried fruit, boiled eggs, pastries, fresh fruit, as well as various types of bread, bread rolls and croissants. We think the selection is quite good.
Of course, all these explanations and apologies cannot undo your experience, but we hope that our explanations have helped to shed new light on some of the misunderstandings. We invite you to perhaps give us another chance on your next visit to help you form a more positive impression of our establishment.

Hotel for us fine for 1 night.
Pros: very good beds, friendly staff, nice terrace with pool, parking garage.
Cons: carpeting with stains in room.
Balcony with lake view no added value, more from room not to be seen, you have to go outside and then stand on corner balcony
Food: good breakfast. Dinner: salmon was very tasty, but side-served potatoes and grilled vegetables swam in olive oil.
Pros: very good beds, friendly staff, nice terrace with pool, parking garage.
