Overnight stay for 1 night.

Very good hotel.
Very nice location.
Unfortunately, it is too hot at night.
An air conditioning unit would be recommended.
Unfortunately, there is no restaurant in the hotel.
Very clean hotel and super friendly staff.

HOW TO WASTE A WONDERFUL LOCATION
I am still waiting to be contacted by the management regarding the fact that, contrary to what was indicated in the response on Booking and in the absence of any contrary information before the reservation, it is not possible to use the pool on the day of check-out while vacating the room without an extra charge. (THEY CHARGE 25 francs per hour!!! for every hour of stay not in the room, only in the pool!) I would like to point out that I repeatedly tried to call yesterday and the day before to the two contact numbers without a response to confirm; otherwise, I would not have booked. Driving an hour and using the pool for 2 hours on Sunday was obviously not considered. Additionally, the kind lady at the reception cannot find the owner for the necessary explanations. Regards, Dr. Pozzi.
I urgently request that we be granted what was written on Booking. I also point out that the facility, renovated last year, does not have air conditioning!! This matter is not clearly specified.
They say the ownership has changed; I recommend managing a hostel rather than a hotel!!
An experience to forget, a missed opportunity.

View as in the picture book – guided with a lot of heart - But...

Clearly, first of all: The view is simply breathtaking! Situated high above Lugano, you really feel like you are above all else and very close to nature. We were lucky enough to be housed in the “Queen Lounge” – presumably a former apartment – and felt like kings in four!
Dinner was equally royal – prepared with love, tasted great. Breakfast was also a treat in a very pleasant atmosphere, always served friendly and with high-quality ingredients.
Then why only 4 out of 5 points? Unfortunately, the pool was cold as - on request - the solar system does not provide sufficient heat in bad weather. For our children (and for us because of the hot tub as well) this was a big disappointment, which unfortunately clouded the overall impression.
Conclusion: A highly recommended hotel – quiet, secluded, with great attention to detail. It is probably also perfect for hiking, but for us the perfect relaxing stopover on the way back from Italy. Keep it up!

Perfect location

At the Bridge, if you absorb the energy of the place well, you can really relax. Detach from the stress of a business period or enjoy your partner, without prejudice, the family, a moment with yourself. The family management of Fabiola and Patrick, Anu the waiter, Stella, the lady who does the cleaning. A nice family. In Cademario and its surroundings, you can take beautiful walks in nature with breathtaking views of Lake Lugano and panoramic points on Lake Maggiore, Monte Rosa and part of Piedmont. Cademario is an ancient town, so much so that on the border with Aranno there is an archaeological site, La Forfora, dating back to the Iron Age, whose historical finds are preserved in the Ticino cantonal archives. A few minutes by bus you can reach very interesting places that range between river and mountain. The food is very similar to Mediterranean cuisine with excellent local specialties. I don't write anything else..... come and find out for yourself

We stayed at this hotel one night via smartbox. Great experience, show view, spotless and spacious room, large shower and balcony. Swimming pool towels provided. Small but well-kept swimming pool with whirlpool and large solarium area. We also had dinner and enjoyed spaghetti alla arrabbiata made to perfection. Owners and staff prepared and very welcoming. Just a small negative note: the coffee pod machine for breakfast. But we are Italian, don’t touch L’Espresso
