Nice Staff - HORRIBLE HOTEL

Worst hotel experience in 12 years of visiting Switzerland. Due to high temperature and humidity, it was IMPOSSIBLE to sleep and rest in this hotel. We traveled as a family, rented 2 rooms and paid $ 4,000.00 for a week. At this price we received 2 tiny rooms where you can not fit 2 pieces of luggage, a tiny NON-WORKING refrigerator where all the chocolate melted inside, milk went sour and had to throw away all the meats. The rooms were extremely hot with NO AC so we had to go and spend EXTRA $100.00 CHF to purchase our OWN fan so we can get some air moving. The hotel provided a fan but it was so tiny and ineffective, it could not put a candle light out. The bathroom is tiny where 2 people can not fit inside, the faucet was broken with no indication where hot / cold is (you learn with usage though but, for $2000.00 dollars per week per room, you expect something else). Inside the bathroom, the wall dispensers for the shower shampoo and sink soap were empty so the hotel provided hand-held pieces. The shampoo dispenser was broken and unusable and even though we asked for a replacement, none was provided. The light in the bathroom was the size of a child's toy flashlight so shaving in the morning is not possible. The window opening / closing knob was removed by the hotel and the actual windows were screwed into the frame so they could not be opened for fresh air at night. The only opening was a narrow door to the patio which did not provide enough air movement to cool down the room at night. Parking is a hit and miss. Since the hotel is just on the other side of the train tracks, the shoreline is accessible through a small tunnel on the side of the building. For this reason, many people come and park for beach usage so when you come back to the hotel, many times you can not find parking until late at night when people go home and free some spaces.It is included in the $2000.00 / week price though and so is the WI-FI. A LOT of money for NO service !!! AVOID THIS OVERPRICED - NO SERVICE HOTEL !
