Beautiful mountain sports hotel
Located right next to the Parsennbahn cable car, the Hotel Seehof Davos is an ideal starting point for mountain sports of all kinds. The bus stop right outside the door; train station in about 5-10 minutes walking distance.
Nice, spacious rooms, delicious food and a very friendly service everywhere.
The fitness room is equipped to provide a good whole body maintenance workout. Dumbbells up to 10kg.

It's a shame about the former reference in Davos.
We had booked half board and are absolutely disappointed:
• Every evening a similar, unloving dessert with fruit and/or cream and crumbs.
• Salad without dressing as a starter; particularly serious on the last evening: only radicchio.
• "Unloving" presentation of the dishes.
• We already complained on the second evening, and they promised improvement… But nothing changed.
The last two nights, the hotel was full of dogs because a dog congress was taking place there.
• . On those evenings, the quality was even worse because the focus was on the diners.
• The bathroom was full of stains on the stones and did not look nice.
• No air conditioning.
• There was insufficiently trained staff on site; they gave the helpers pants and blouses and then put them in service.
The owner's bankruptcy (which we only learned about on site) has left its unmistakable marks here: Everything (except for the nice service staff) was at most at a 3-star level.

Very nice room, very clean.
The wellness area is poorly organized, with the hot tub right next to the sauna, little tranquility in the sauna, and everyone can see directly into the sauna - clear glass.
The service is nice but not attentive, and it is not very hospitable, especially for a 5-star establishment.
The price/performance ratio does not match.

A very long series of inefficiencies: treatment not up to a similar hotel...
We had booked online a table of 4 for a dinner at the hotel restaurant for 8.45 pm on Saturday, April 4, receiving confirmation by email.
Once we arrived (on time!!), after finding someone to turn to (no waiter in the restaurant room), we found that the table had not even been set up for us... (and there was not a full house...).
After sitting down we waited for the waitress to dignify us to ask what we wanted, bringing us the card. We immediately announced that we would like to eat fondue, and, according to Swiss tradition, an appetizer of cold cuts (dried meat Graubünden, ...) to start. We were informed that there was no such possibility, which was not provided for in the Easter charter. As drinks, in addition to wine, we ask for the possibility of having a jug of natural tap water (as many restaurants allow, at a modest price). The waitress dissuades us by arguing that, since it is still paid, better to have the bottle (at a much higher price of course...). In a moment, after drinking, comes the steaming caquelon along with the portion of boiled potatoes requested by a diner... and bread?? Not everyone wanted potatoes: how could the others taste fondue?? Ten minutes at least before it was finally served, along with 2 measly bowls of pickles (for 4 people!). After the caquelon, which did not correspond at all to 4 large portions, we were forced to order a new portion of fondue. Here the diligent waiters think well to pick up the first caquelon and immediately turn the stove back on... For another 10 minutes the gas burned with nothing on it... Very curious timing...
Since it was not a dinner on offer, but a well-paid dinner, I would therefore like to express my disappointment and make a sad hypothesis: more and more people are recruiting untrained, unqualified, and therefore low-paid staff, and this naturally leads to the expiration of the Swiss quality to which we are accustomed...

Very well we can recommend
Everything we liked so far well, breakfast great, all restaurants very well eaten, top location near Parsenn Bahn is great. Can absolutely recommend.
