Gasthaus Sternen in Degersheim – A place to feel good!

I had the pleasure of visiting the Gasthaus Sternen in Degersheim, and am absolutely thrilled. As soon as you enter you will be welcomed by the warm atmosphere and friendly service. The entire team makes you feel welcome immediately, and every wish is read from your eyes.
I would particularly like to highlight the great family of operators who run the inn with a lot of love and commitment. You can feel that tradition, warmth and hospitality are paramount here. Every visit is like a small piece of holiday – you just feel completely comfortable.

Very disappointing!

Apart from good bedding, well placed in the center of the village (next to the church whose bells ring), good sound insulation, if the windows are closed. No service, not kind, do not ask for a "breakfast" (very bad experience), which they suggest to take elsewhere in the village (see table in the room). No service, no way to find someone before 11am to pay the bill! Went back to the inn three times to find staff. I certainly won't go back...

Would we honestly not recommend

We wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
When we arrived, we had to first organize how to get into the room. Because the inn is closed from 2 pm to 5 pm. Nobody told us that the key was stored in the milk box. Only after the back and forth with phone calls. When we got into the room, even the beds weren't made. So really for the price of Fr. 126.- without breakfast it is not worth it. In the Hotel Wolfensberg, Degersheim we would have gotten for Fr. 125.- incl. a room. Full of demolition for a room without great service. Parking also a deficiency for an inn.

Jedes Zimmer eine eigene Geschichte

Leider sehr wenige Parkplätze vor dem Gasthaus, aber in der Nähe ( 4-5 Min. ) Gehzeit. Waren am Samstag angereist. Normalerweise gibt es Frühstück, ausser am Sonntagmorgen. Die Zimmer sind individuell eingerichtet, jedes ein anderes Sujet. Wir schwebten auf Wolke 7, sehr ruhig. Kommen sicher wieder.

Kleine Bar mit style im Keller vorhanden sowie spezielle Events an Freitagen (teilweise ist eine Anmeldung notwendig) Herzliche Gastgeber und gutes Essen.
