Ibis-compliant hotel and rooms

A 10-minute drive from the centre of Fribourg, this hotel is located in the area of the Forum Fribourg and the casino. An ibis budget hotel is right across the street. The room complies with the 2-star ibis standard: functional room, clean with medium bedding. Breakfast is full and varied. To the left of the entrance hall with its simplistic welcome, is a snack cafe allowing a break for coffee or snacks. Few parking spaces in front of the hotel (fees apply), but underground parking accessible from the back of the building (fees apply).

Perfectly ok for one night. The rooms rather small. Especially if there are three of them, one is placed like in a closet bed.
Shower stank of urine.
Breakfast was good, it had everything you need. Unfortunately, little information is received about the region. In the old town, however, we found it.

Too bad that there are organizational shortcomings in such a well located hotel.

We booked eight rooms for two nights. The rooms were clean, but one smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. There is no information about the hotel in the rooms; you have to ask at the reception yourself. Since several groups stayed at the hotel at the same time, no one informed us about the transfer of breakfast to another building. The calculation of guest parking is quite complicated. Theoretically, the daily parking fee is 12 francs, but only if the car is parked continuously. Otherwise, each entry and exit will be charged separately.

Welcoming great, simple but comfortable room, immediately we felt safe, ideal to visit the city without car, a bus 50 meters every 10 minutes BRAVO to all the staff with little care

Good Stay

The hotel is not in the city center but is walking distance to the bus stop. The room size is just right for two persons. The hotel staff are very helpful.
