A relaxing vacation

A good hotel with a good restaurant and a good breakfast; we stayed there for four nights for our wedding anniversary.
Beautiful spacious room with a nice balcony overlooking the Eiger in a quiet wing (206). The bathroom is a bit small for the size of the room, but all in all, I felt very comfortable.
Comfortable bed (two single beds close together); be careful as there is often a possibility of a gap in between.
Spa area: the pool is very peaceful and a spectacle!! Very comfortable saunas, but the highlight is the wonderful ice zone!!!

Home from home.

Hotel Spinne is central located giving easy access to all forms of transport: road, rail and lifts. All the staff are friendly, polite and very helpful, with front desk very welcoming. Our room was excellent in all respects, especially with cleanliness, supplies of toiletries and drinking facilities. The location of our room on the lower level enjoyed access to the grassed area immediately outside which served as our ‘balcony’ with wonderful views of the north face of the Eiger and other surrounding peaks.
We have stayed in this hotel, owned by the Kaufman family, for many years and, hopefully, many more to come.

Great place to stay

We spent three nights at Hotel Spinne, and our wallet is still in recovery—but so were we.
The location is fantastic, the staff were genuinely friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was excellent with plenty of options to start the day. The spa was a highlight, especially the hot steam room followed by the cold plunge. It’s a love-hate relationship that somehow leaves you feeling amazing afterward.
Overall, Hotel Spinne delivers a great experience with excellent service, a relaxing spa, and a location that’s hard to beat. Yes, it’s expensive—but that’s Switzerland. If your budget can handle it, your vacation will thank you, even if your credit card needs a few days to recover.

Already missing my Eiger View Room

Myself and my husband thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel Spinne for 4 nights in an Eiger view room. The view from both the room and infinity pool is stunning!
The hotel is charming if a little dated in places but the room and bathroom were both very clean and functional.
Robes and slippers are included in your room for use of the spa facilities, which were amazing and an added bonus after a long day of exploring.
Breakfast included both hot and cold selections, and we enjoyed our omelettes cooked to order every morning. The only downside and this is not a bad reflection on the hotel as we experienced it all over Switzerland, is the influx of flies at mealtimes. In England restaurants have machines to kill flies and keep them away from food but nowhere we visited seemed to have this and you end up swatting them away while eating, which is infuriating, but as it seems to be a countrywide problem this would be no means put us off returning to this gem of a village or hotel.

Wished the spa hours started
In the morning and ended later in the evening. The hotel was perfect and the pool and breakfast was a plus!
